Thumbs up Attn: Tri-Jets lovers, HIGH RECOMMENDATION! Read.

I just got a World Airways DC-10 in 70's livery and I can not describle how marvelous job GeminiJets have done on that one! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO THOSE WHO HAVE NOT GOTTEN OR CONSIDERING ONE. DO IT SOON! Do not "think, wait, or consider" in any way! Grab one right away. You would NOT regret for having one.

By comparing the past club release and I think this one rocks and tie with Braniff and Seaworld 747's. Hate to disappoint to those Kalitas L-1011 lovers that I think the World DC-10 outrank Kalitas L-1011.

Thank Geminijets for making this one even though this airline isnt my favorite.

Once again, Do not "think" or wait for any reason and grab one while there is an opportunity. I think they might have 200 qtys left. Grab one while you can. Good luck.

Regards

The belly/wings are real metal! Looks like a real plane when you have it on your hand. I do not see any reason how can there be any of disappointments? Speechless.... What a classic retro airliner.

Thumbs up

I agree whole heartedly, this is one fine model, very well executed. It made me join the GeminiJets Club, and I am not one to pay money to a club so I can then have the privilage to give them some more of my money to buy models. But this baby did it! It is a beautiful livery too, and I also happen to have flown in this one, so I just had to have it. Get it, you won't regret it.
I hope now Gemini will come out with the Wolrd livery that followed this one, the one with a marroon and blue W on the tail.

Here is a picture by Frank Duarte.

I believe this was their original livery til after the runway over-slid crash inclident and they changed to slightly plainer livery as picture shown from another collector. I do not know why World have chosen to go with the current livery as it is too plain!? I guess maybe after realize how cost savings they have benefit from the second livery? Maybe with much to lease to other airliners and it is cheap to change livery or hybird livery?

Look at example that World is still flying MD-11 on Aer Lingus' color. Even Saudia Arabian and Gardua have leased that one too along with their brand on Aer Lingus' colours. So my theory is that it could be paint cost savings-reason. ??? Maybe when that MD-11 undergo D check then the fuselage may be return back to original white fuselage? We'll wait and see......

Hey World-lover please help this poor guy's questions if my theory is "Rong.

Hey LAX-dud please do not "think" in any way. Bottom to Top line you would not be disappointed when you have that hot fudge on your hand. Hey be careful it's damn too hot than hot potato.
