Nice work once again Rui! I particularly like your shots of the new Alaska CV-880!

Thumbs up

Thanks for the heads up Rui.

That TTA (Tree Top Airways) DC-3 is a no-brainer as well as the AI Connie (though I would have preferred an Air Ceylon). As for the F-27s, are these new moulds or re-releases (something never heard of from Andrew) ? The reason I as is because the NE looks a little like a first generation AC mould. The Convair looks nice but personally I am getting a little burned out to AS aircraft, I hope that there will be additional carriers offered when this mould is released. Still all in all, it looks like Jan will be a promising month for AC.

Judging from the pictures available, AC did a great job with shaping and printing the nose/cockpit section of that 880.
Really love it!
Great model, although I'll pass on the Alaska - to white for me.
Those engines look huge!
I'd like to have a CX880 in 1980s colours to go with my CX707s.
Hope I'll get my hands on one of those CX ooc 880s, too.

Personally I am hoping that Mr. Klein will grace us with a SR CV880.

Fear not. You know Andrew will be offering this modern sleekliner in more than one livery. The airframes are intentionally selected to provide as much mileage as possible, thus a return on the development costs. Limited livery possibilities are why we probably will not see a 1:400 Avro Tudor (ugly so who cares) or de Havilland Comet 1 ( sniff )

We already know a "mystery manufacturer" will probably copy Andrew's beautiful 880 mold and do a Cathay Pacific delivery livery (oooooooh yes!) and there is no telling what else we'll see one way or the other. I can understand how some people might have had enough Alaska (and Braniff... ) but I haven't. Bring 'em on!! Alaska's liveries are classic.

GREAT MODEL!

I want the CX CV-880!

I am waiting for TWA CV-880 and hope there is no license issue. Otherwise, let BB400 or Golden Falcon do it.

I can't wait to add the Alaska CV-880 to my ever growing AS fleet! That model looks awesome! Also can't wait to see TWA, AA and house colors CV-880s and CV-990s.

Default Nice pics Rui...

That Alaska 880 looks great.
I like the choice of color schemes for the first release and we still have the Golden Nugget scheme left to do too. There have been some really great "Alaskan" releases of late, still more to come, I hope.

This "Fly Alaska" livery is absoultely classic retro, I can't wait to see what comes next. I have been waiting for this airplane for a long, long time. There is no need for me to make any suggestions, I will be happy with whatever scheme ends up on this airplane!

Looking good Andrew, keep the good stuff coming.

Arrow Still getting SMAC, Alaska 732.

That and Jet America are great historical planes of the Alaska Air Group lineage. Yep they keep getting better. I hope we see Alaska's CV-990 also in the near future.
Other missing Alaska's. Curtiss Commando C-46, DC-4, DC-6, L-1049 same scheme as CV-880,CV-240, B-727-200: 78' scheme, Jet America MD-80, Alaska MD-80: 78' type scheme, 727-200 current scheme. I would have hoped for Boeing B-720B an Eastern hockey stick design. 707-320 in Golden Nugget scheme. It was in that scheme for awhile.

It's an F-27. The FH-227 was a "stretched" version of the F-27.

No cargo door, no extra exits aft of the wings, as far as I can see, & there shouldn't be white blocks between the blue on the cheat line just a white outline.
