With the success of Dragon Wings re-releasing popular 747 models, is there a plan in the works to re-issues the props such as the Electras, DC-6's, Viscounts etc...? If yes, when? If no, why not? Just wondering, Robert.

Viscounts, Vanguards, FH-227's, no, or at least, not during 2003/2004. There are still a few very limited decaled FH-227's coming in the next few months.
DC-6 & Electra, yes, in line behind the DC-3, which will debut next week. After the recent poor showing with the 767 & 747 releases, we are concentrating our focus back on the 1950's, 1960's & 1970's. We're putting the "classics" back into AeroClassics! |

Andrew, I can't wait for the DC-3s, etc. but what about the Constellations? I'm confused about what's going on with this mould.

What about VC-10's? I'd love a (printed) re-release of of the BOAC and elusive red-tail British Airways.
So how bout it Andrew? |

Thanks for info Andrew, I hope the L.A. Dodgers, Eastern, Air California, and PSA would be great and as a suggestion the prototype would be an interesting release as well. Robert

Darn! I was hoping you would release the United B747-222 in the new colors, to fill that void in the fleet left behind by Dragon and Gemini!

. While I still believe that the 767 and 747s are exceptional and have set a new standard for this scale, still if they are not selling then you have to cut your losses. I am sure that BB will pick up the slack (albeit at a noticebly higher price ) . All in all it is good to see that AC returning to it's beginnings.Thomas Last edited by ThomasM; 09-26-2003 at 11:08 PM. |
