LFT
BTR
MSY
MOB

If memory serves correct, you have all the destinations listed except for LCH and GGG (longview,tx.).
I worked for L'Express here in BTR.
If I had known any better,I would have saved a lot of stuff for memorabilia.
Let me know if you ever decide to get rid of that gate board.
L'express screwed me and a lot of others out of our last 2 months pay.

Joe DeGregorio

Hmm...well..I can guarantee that we NEVER opened the Dallas station.
It was on the agenda, same with MGM,but the stations never opened, due to Mr. Read's criminal behavior.
I know,as I was with the airline from begining to end,and was going to be the station manager at MGM,had we opened it.
Dallas was a lost cause becaise of AAL at DFW and Southwest at DAL.
So we opened the GGG-Longview station instead.
We also had NO NOTICE of the impending seizure of the aircraft by Beechcraft and US Marshalls either.
I reported to work here at BTR on a bright Saturday at Noon to open the station and only to find a huge stack of messages from the printer stating that each and every flight was cancelled, with no explanation.
When I finally got Mr.Andrus on the phone at 1:30pm,30 minutes before the 2pm scheduled flight to SHV,did I learn of the airlines fate.
I was a Supervisor and not only myself but the majority of the employees were not told of what was happening to the airline.
In fact,we were all being told by Executive Management that everything was normal and that the Airline was doing good, all the way to the end.

We started L'Express with an all Beech 1900C fleet and the 1st year had an average 98.7% load factor system wide.

Only thing was,was that we had a very corrupt Senior Management Staff.
Others should have went to jail along with Mr. Read, but since they turned states evidence for the prosecution, the were all granted immunity.

I still have 2 of my uniform polo shirts.I keep them in my closet with plastic covering to keep them from getting messed up.Those are the only things that I kept.

I wont mention their names, but for the Employee Christmas Party 1991,one of our B-1900s went to each station and picked up employees to bring them to MSY for the party. It made two trips into MSY and the final trip,it had 35 people on board plus the flight crew. And if anyone knows anything about the B-1900C,its only equipped with 15 seats...yes,they had people sitting in the isle and on laps...those of us that worked the front lines were a merry buch and loved our little airline, but hated management for what they did to an airline that had found its niche market and could still be flying today.

That was the 4th and last airline I worked for.I worked for a local FBO after that for many years, and was happy with the stability of that job vs the unstability of the airline industry.

Cheers!!
