Default Bizzare Liveries

Here are three of the strangest hybrids you’ll see tonight.

I think I’ll take my Bahamasair 737 Club model and try the middle one (just kidding).

Here are two more for you.

A Lot/Arrow Air DC8 at JFK (Pan Am terminal) and an International Parcel Express DC8.

Default Yellow Air France

The Air France F28 actually wears the basic colour scheme of TAT [Touraine Air Transport]. It was a regional French airline that was swallowed by big brother AF. Later on, the F28s flew in the regular white AF colour scheme with a large TAT logo on nose and/or engines.

Yes. I remember Touraine AT, or as it is now known, Freedom Air. I have some photos of the F-28 somewhere.

Interesting photos. I remember a few of them, but most of them are novel, to me. Aer Lingus and Eire's GPA (Guinness Peat Aviation) in general seem to be very active in leasing aircraft, world-wide, for some reason. Perhaps it is a strategy for the small nation to encourage and expand its international trade?

Sorry, Craig, N5812 was never with Frontier.

It is C/N 352, built (converted...) for North Central as N2044. Went to James Bay Energy as C-GFHC in 1977, to Quebecair in 1980, to Sea Airmotive in July 83, to Seair Alaska Airlines in July 84, in whose colours you attached.

Besides, Frontier's scheme did not have the white stripes between the three coloured stripes.... as shown on all the Frontier hybrid schemes in this thread.

Thanks!
