This was produced by Herpa 400 as well as Gemini. That said, it's still as rare as hen's teeth and very rarely appears on e-bay etc, certainly not on the cheap. It's one of those classic models that needs a re-release to get the market price back down to a reasonable level. I can certainly make mine available for about £10,000...

I see oh wells, I have rare stuff as well my rarities are priceless, but then again I was hoping for people to post places other than Ebay, but I guess there isn't much options I guess.

Gemini have done all seven of BA's Concordes in the Chatham Dockyard livery and several in Negus 'British Airways' and 'British' schemes. Quite why they've only done one Landor representation is a mystery. Given that there were only seven assigned to British Airways, it makes for quite an easy and inexpensive fleet build project for collectors who enjoy that sort of thing. I've got all the Chathams, G-BOAA to G and wouldn't mind doing all the other liveries too.

Yeah that I understand, @ x-3dfx we have a similar kind of thing to protect 3dfx Voodoo Engineering Samples from landing in the wrong hands as well.

Also I did aircraft modeling about 10 years ago, but due to the amount of pains I been getting modeling isn't possible so these diecast metal models were the solution for my aircraft collecting hobby.
All 80 of my plastic model kits were all 1:72, Jets to biombers freighters to transporters everything, now I live in a smaller apartment, lost about 60 of these after the move, many broke due to brittleness, so I did have to change a lot of things, Jets remained @ 1:72, but Airliners & Freighters are mainly 1:200 and some are 1:400 & 1:500 as well.

The Air France 20th Anniversary @ 1:200 is probably one of the hardest to find, a few days ago I received the G-BOAE @ 1:200 BA Landor Livery from Dai Kong, was a private deal so I am super happy with that one, Landor was the best livery imo anyway

You can check him out here with my other SST's Tu-144's that are of course
http://www.diecastaircraftforum.com/...ollection.html

Thanks for replying though, I will keep looking for my friend I ain't one that gives up from not looking far enough either

It seems getting a Landor anything is not easy.. I only have one; a GJ DC-10, most of my BA fleet is Chatham or World Tails, with a few Negus thrown in.
I see the odd Landor 747 on ebay, but the prices are way too much. I wonder why there is so little out there..?

I often assume it's down to the terms of the BA brand license. "You must only do zee current liveries !"

Hmm that would explain oe thing but as model kits go there are plenty modelkits even new ones having older livery decals, so then there is that as well, if model kits can have older liveries why not these diecast & plastic desktop models alike, odd right?

Hi Gold Leader,

I don't know if you found the BA Landor Concorde for your friend, but I just listed one today on eBay. Click attachment and you will be able to scroll to it.

She already got her Gemini BA Landor Concorde btw, she got it fora good deal as well she showed me her collection and she is doing considerably well thanks for the help tho

She has two now one is 1:400 the Gemini Jets one and the other from Corgi is 1:410, yet it also seems that Herpa Wings did a 1:400 Landor Concorde as well.
Could it be that Gemini Jets used the same moulds as Herpa Wings did for these?

No. The Herpa mould is different from the Gemini mould.
Personally I think it is much better. (My background in micrometer nitpicky plastic kit bashing is my bias here.) YMMV.
