WestJet might consider them soon.

There are around 5 B737-800 w/ winglets models.
But not aware of any B737-700 w/ winglets model produced.

Other than Boeing BBJs, not many airline 737-700s equiped with winglets. A few of them such as Virgin Blue, Copa Airlines, and Kenya Airways. Interim Midway with Virgin Blue winglets doesn't count.

From them, I am only interested in Virgin Blue B737-700 w/ winglets.

I believe Aeromexico has recently ordered some 73ng's with winglets..... Could be wrong though.

Btw, I am almost 100% sure that any airline can get them retrofitted. Is that right?

Default Westjet winglets !!!

I really hope they(Westjet) do start to order the -700 winglet version. My camera would leap out of my hands on that photo-op! The 737-800 looks damn good with the winglets but the -700 would look better because of the shortened fuselage. The visual impact of the size of these would be quite neat !

Virgin Blue B737-700 does have winglets. Also Air Pacific has fitted all their B737-800 with winglets. Not that many airlines have them. From what I have told, the winglets do make a huge difference.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong here, but the difference between a 737-700 wing and a -800 wing is primarily internal strengthening of the wing structure and strategically-placed thicker wing skins. Externally, the wing should be identical. Since we've already got -800s released in 1/400 from both manufacturers with winglets (such as the nicely done ATA), it would just be a matter of using that wing with the -700 fuselage which is already in existence by both manufacturers.

It would take me a year to check through some stuff, but I believe a -800 can be retrofitted with winglets, but a -700 cannot. The BBJ is a -700 fuse with a -800 wing, so it can have winglets retrofitted (the very first one, or maybe even the first couple BBJ's were not built with winglets, I think). You can certainly order -700's with winglets, but they must be installed when built. Of course, I could be totally wrong on this, I'm not a 737 fan, ESPECIALLY the 6/7/8/900 series. Need a 737 expert here... (Though if you want to tell a 737-200 from a -200Adv, I'm your man)

Found some stuff at Boeing:

The first Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) takes off from Boeing Field on its initial flight with winglets. Although this is the first BBJ to be flown with winglets, Boeing used a 737-800 as a testbed for BBJ winglets last summer. Once the winglets are certified, they will be offered as a post-delivery installation feature on all BBJs. The winglets are being tested as a possible range-performance enhancement for the BBJ. The BBJ is a derivative of the Next-Generation 737-700, combining the -700 fuselage with the strengthened wings and landing gear of the larger and heavier 737-800.

Hapag-Lloyd has started to retrofit its fleet of 27 Boeing 737-800s with winglets.

Aviation Partners Boeing also is developing this technology for application in the commercial airline retrofit market for the 737-700 and -800.

That's 3 different news releases, BTW. So I was wrong--they can be retrofitted to a -700. Now the big question is--what about the 600 and 900? And would it be worth it?
