Exclamation TEN-HUT! What's pissing the General off today...

Attention you maggots and grabastic pieces of amphibian sh*t! The General calls your undivided attention to his list of items that has been pissing him off in the last few days. Piss off if you little spineless squids don't like it, he's one crusty old bastard of a warhorse.

Condor Rizzi Bird- what in heaven's name is that emasculated piece of metal? The General is astounded that something like this actually existed in full-scale form and wonders if any member of the collectorate will publicly admit to the purchase of this diecast eyesore. Don't ask, don't tell is the best policy here lest the General brand you a sissy.

TACA- why the f*ck has this banana republic of an airline suddenly become so popular in the discussions of the collectorate? The General can only hope that Mr. Sobchak will do what is within his powers and influence to keep this airline off the radar scope. The General does slyly admit to great entertainment and humor with the discussions of this two-bit carrier.

Gemini Jets- the General derives tremendous enjoyment from his Gemini releases and has in the past with the eagerness of a green B-52 bombardier with his finger on the release button looked forward to each month's releases from a manufacturer that with pride marketed themselves since inception as "By Collectors, For Collectors". Well the General offers his disgruntled thanks for the UPS MD-11 deal. Okay, as a crusty old bastard of a warhorse understands it, to secure this release one must go and find some hapless UPS employee (which in this festive non-Communist holiday season seem to be all temporary laborers and part-time college kids saving up for their spring break beer funds) which more than likely will have absolutely no working knowledge of what this release is all about, let alone possess the time and inclination to help a collector in need. Whoa-ho-whoa, stop the presses and calm down, the General's just too damn excited about this arrangement.

The Saudis- they're still on the General's list with that idiot Interior Minister's comments this week about the Jews being behind the 9/11 attacks and that he doubted not only the fact that the majority of the hijackers were Saudi nationals, but that Al-Qaeda had the technical moxie to pull off the attacks. Well, well, well, with a f*cking bonehead like that in charge of law enforcement, it's no wonder that every fundamentalist half-baked zealot turns to our so-called friends in the Kingdom for the funds to buy explosives to blow up women and children.

The eBay Sample Sale- what the hell is this? There have been more samples for sale on Fleabay in the last several months that in the past several years of collecting in the General's memory. The General however does slyly admit to secretly watching the outcome of these auctions to see if they're won by any hapless members of the DAC collectorate.

Tucano- the General's going to give these as*swipes a permanent spot on his pissed off list. The General just can't help but laugh at their sorry attempt at the Tu-154M. Even funnier are the Tucanolopes who try to pump this stuff up everyone's posterior. They're pre-verts with multiple pre-versions.

Wannabe Insiders- it never fails to amaze the General that the collectorate seems to be in possession of a select group of special spineless squids that relish in brandishing their secret and not-so-secret contacts with supposed industry individuals in vain attempts to impress the rest of the collectorate. These little grabastic pieces of rotten calamari would be better served by bragging about their package sizes which are undoubtedly lacking in crowd-pleasing girth and tumescence. That's about as revolting as the remainder of the squid population that jizzes off with glee at every new release posted for consumption by the collectorate.

Father Manicotti- where is that bastard of a pompous prick hiding out and why does he shun this forum? The General is a long-time fan of the good Father's in-your-face style and controversey. Hell, the General considers the good Father the Morton Downey of DAC. Call it like it is, Padre, and get your pre-vert tuckus back on this forum with due haste, the squids are in bloom here.

The BCS Ranking System- weh-heh-hell, this has got to be Al Gore's fuzzy math at its best. If someone can justify this sports travesty to the General, then maybe he'll spare a few TACAs from the Sobchak Meltdown.

Much better. Time for a nightcap of pure grain alcohol and rainwater before the General submits his manhood to the feminine wiles of Miss Scott.

Dismissed, that is all.

General, what most excites me is the possibility of repopulating the globe in the event of a thermonuclear exchange with the Russkies and/or the activation of their "Doomsday Device". Dr. Strangelove has commented that the sex ratio in such an event would have to be ten women for every man! Also, since every man would have to perform "prodigious" sexual activity, the women would have to be chosen for their sexual attractiveness! (I would agree, but would increase the ratio to 20:1 or higher.)

Humbly yours,

Lionel Mandrake

The General is up late again? And why DOES the General always refer to himself in the third person?

It is truly remarkable how the number of words in posts such as this appears to be inversely proportional to the quality (or relevance) of its content.

Still, we all must have a place to vent.

What happened to the days where people would access a forum using their own name and post valid and constructive remarks about the models and their hobby?

Why do we now see a string of people signing up with sh*twhore names like General Buck Turd-idson or Saddam Hussein (the person behind this name should be ashamed) coming on to the forum to cause trouble?

And furthermore, with all due respect to Clip (you ARE doing a good job), why is so much effor put in to moving O/T threads from the 1/400 forum to the Off Topic one as opposed to moving confrontational threads from the board all together?

Be careful Eddy,
This questioning of authority is probably why your last 2 identities have been shutdown. Besides, wasn't the good Father also a character as the General?

Close, but it's really spelled tokhis. And pronounced 'tookis'. Just setting the record straight.

Actually, that quote comes from the movie "Full Metal Jacket", very popular among DACers. Mailcall has R. Lee Ermey do a highly-sanitized version. Here's link to the real version: You are pukes.

BTW, we've had multiple threads on how to defeat the censorbot and cuss like a real sailor, but to no avail. Folks here still can't or won't take that little extra step to express themselves fully. Maybe they think 'sh*t' is less offensive than 'shit'?

Talking Nuke the censorbot!

There are so many ways to defeat the censorbot it's a wonder if it's still even relevant for discussions on DA.C. F*ck 'em if they can't take a joke. (Yeah, yeah, I know what's the proper ASCII character that defeats the censorbot, but I still prefer the strategically-placed asterisk on those certain words that 'will curve your spine, grow hair on your palms and bring us -- God forbid -- peace without honor' when I wanna vent my spleen online.)

We've got two kinds of lists running, Tom.

First there's the DAC Easily Offended List. How 'bout an update on where we stand on this one. I know we got a few TACA fans on this list.

Then there's the DAC Clueless Dickhead List. Last time I checked, there's only two on this list.

i think you guys need to get off this, there re very few ways to "easily" piss most people off, and one of those is to talk about people's families, i wonder what u would think if someone insulted a family member of yours.

as for the list, who are the other TACA members as i thought i was the only one, oh well, Three cheers for the easily offended!

The General is heartedly entertained with how some of you piss-ant squid-boys get your panties all bunched up in your asscracks when the boat gets rocked. The General calls it like it is and sometimes the way it is is pretty fucking unpleasant. But nowhere near as reverse-peristalsis-inducing in the way some of you squid-boys ingratiate yourselves to the manufacturers and their principals after an incidental one-time meeting as if there's free *******s in it for you.

You squid-boys think the manufacturers are doing you any favors? Bullshit, they release the models they want because they can and if some of you pre-verts happen to masturbate with wanton glee when they're released as you fumble with your parents' charge cards, then that's icing on the proverbial cake.

And don't get the General started on those grabastic squid-boys who like to advertise the size of their collections. Bravo, you've got more diecast than pubic hairs, ain't puberty a bitch.

Pardon the General while he goes out to nightstick a few Condor Rizzi owners and some TACA fans for good measure.

You're a funny guy General but Eddy Two can't help but wonder how long it will be before you get fed up of acting so anally and trying to stir up **** on the forums.

Eddy Two recalls such people as Father Manicotti, Sister Mary Elephant and, dare I suggest, Dave Aaron who set about causing trouble here...... While Eddy Two found it funny as hell, despite being at the butt of many a harsh comment, he notices that it only takes a couple of months before these people realise that the novelty soon wears off and people become less impressed with their unique level of humor.

While Eddy Two relishes reading your posts at the moment, he always remembers in the back of his mind that you, like the rest of them, won't be around forever.

The General is here to stay to call things as he sees them as long as all the idiot little squids that live on in this forum continue to fail to think for themselves like that stool pigeon squid-boy who works for a certain low-fare airline north of the border.

Maybe if you squiddies stopped acting like the manufacturers were diecast dieties blessing your lives with diecast dreams and instead act like discriminating paying customers, then the General might consider retirement to beach sipping mint juleps and banging Miss Scott nightly.

In the meantime, this cantankerous bastard of an old warhorse will remain to call things like they are and more than likely pissing off some of you squids in the process.

Dismissed, that is all.

General, by using that sound clip, I do believe you'll have to answer to the Coca Cola Bottling Company.

I will now go back to reading what is rapidly becoming one of my favorite threads of the month. And JP, I'll bet most of the people on your Easily Offended/DAC Dickhead list would be the kind that would f**k a guy in the as$ and not even have common courtesy to give him a reach around.

Dissmissed, that is all.

1. I stand behind my original statement ppbbhhttt!!!
2. get your slurs right, I think you are talking about Canucks, not Squids, I am the only Squid here and I am a bubblehead at that
3. Classified - need to know basis only
4. did I mention ppbbhhttt!!! ??
5. Go back into to your time warp back to WW2, I've met real Flag officers (Genreals and Admirals) and they don't talk like that no more.
6. And finally this hobby is like "Apple Jacks" We collect just cause we like it.

You weren't watching BBC America the other night as well, were you Tony?

Naw, I got that badboy on DVD...got it the same time I picked up Dr. Strangelove. The melding of those to cinematic treasures is the triumph of this thread.

Dude - spend some time at the USA Armor School at Ft. Knox, KY. You'll still find a one or two tough old SOB's with stars that aren't afraid to clear a room when the chips are down...

In the late '70s and early '80s I was a twidget squid, and a once-in-while bubblehead, too - but only for the shake-down cruise after a sub tender refit. After the deep dive to prove everything worked, I was more than happy to get my ass back aboard the tender.

Remember folks, there are only two types of ships in the world: targets and submarines!

1-14 CAV

"Forge the Thunderbolt"

I hope I don't "greatly offend" any Canadians by using US military lingo!

"Hooha?!"

As far as the general is concerned, he out ranks me so I won't make much of a bone about my disagreement with him concerning the issue of TACA. Otherwise, I find his candor and humor as accurate as a Hellfire at 4 clicks.

Those of you who find "great offense" in his comments need to look in an English dictionary (either proper English or the Americanized English) under the word satire!
