Default Skyliners is back in business

Albeit in the 1:500 scale but still, I think this is excellent news.

No offence, but from where did you get your information? Skyliners' old website (www.skyliners400.com) as of a minute ago says nothing about 1:500 scale models. Also, there is no www.skyliners500.com, and www.skyliners.com has nothing to do with airliner models. That would be good news if they are coming back with something, even if 1:500 models (maybe to do competetion with the best models that Herpa has to offer), but unless you can give any more information I cannot regard this as more than a mere rumor.

CrSmith Museum as an American ERJ in 500 scale.

The chicken has explained why there is no movement on another 1/400 scale ERJ from this company. Supposedly, it all comes down to our good friends at Tucano again!

From what the Doc has said (I may be wrong with this - my memory is not that great), the Skyliners mould was used (unlawfully) by Tucano for the Crossair model.

While the legally crap is sorted out, Skyliners won't produce another 1/400 ERJ

Shame. We really need something new!

I understand that to be the situation anyway!

I heard a rumor in the mess hall this morning here at the base (and let me tell you, no one whips up a batch of Sh*t on a Shingle like our USAF cooks) that we might be seeing us some ERJs in the future again....

Dammit, Mandrake's late for breakfast again, that limey sloth....

Well, I for one think this is an amazing release and am buying a bunch.

Also, if my memory serves me correct, someone had quoted Dan Asher as saying we would see a Delta RJ before the years out.

Remember, Skyliners will not release another ERJ until the Tucano mess is straightened, that doesn't rule out the CRJ or Avro/BAe-146...

Are you sure about that, Faheem? The only American Eagle ERJ-145 I've seen is the 1/400 Skyliners400 release. Skyliners hasn't released any 1/500 birds.

Yes...if you read the item description...it notes that this is a special re-release of the 1/400 version in 1/500 scale.

Hey Steven,
It might have been me. I think you might have read it wrong though. Dan told me at the Atlanta Show that he was planning on putting out Delta Connection CRJs but he never told me when it would happen. Now I might have said that I hoped it would be before years end.

Hey Everyone,

Skyliners is back in business!! We do have the American Eagle ERJ-145 in 1:500 scale and it is ready to ship now. I apologize for not getting this info out sooner to all of you, but the plane is as amazing as the 1:400 scale. Pricing is very affordable for this release and it is another first in die-cast modeling from the C.R. Smith Museum Store.

Take care and good collecting,

Craig
