HERE ARE A COUPLE OF PICTURES OF TAROM I TOOK,
ON MY RECENT TRIP TO LONDON AND DUSSELDORF.

THE TAROM BRANCUSI COLOR SCHEME WOULD BE A GREAT 1:400 RELEASE,
I KNOW I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE IT.

HOW ABOUT YOU GUYS? THE REGULAR TAROM COLORS WOULD BE NICE AS WELL,
BUT THOSE SPECIAL COLORS ROCK AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED.

WHAT DO YOU THINK ROMANIA IS #1 ?

Will it be milk and sugar, paper or plastic, Brancusi or Regular?

We certainly don't have enough B737-300 and 400 out there in 1:400 scale.
This mold is very under utilized,
after all it is the worlds best selling jetliner !

This one is at London Heathrow also in Aug. 2002.

Well I must have weird taste, I guess I am the only one on here that would like these two airplanes made into 1:400 models. Since no one else has responded neither negatively nor positively I guess they just aren't interested in the subject matter. Too bad I thought they were quite nice! Oh well, such is life.

jjorgemiami, I'll support your wish to get these planes as models. And it seems that you are a lucky guy. All the time I visited my homeairport I never have had the luck to see the Brancusi livery. I saw always the regular livery, as your LHR picture show, until today.

Zoppo, what a great airport you have there in Dusseldorf ! Dusseldor International Flughauffen it is awesome.
I recommend everyone here visit this place, it has an observation deck, from another era, straight from the 50's and 60's. You can't find these anymore, specially not in brand new terminals. My hat goes off to the German builders of this airport, GOOD JOB!
Too bad I didn't know you were in DUS, we could have met at the observation deck and you could have seen it too.

Here is another special livery I got there, I got the Lufthansa LU A319 too but it parked on the far away part and looks real tiny in th epic, but this one just modeled for us there.

Dave do you have this one from Herpa, it's quite nice. I have it and also have the Eurolair B737 FROG not a bad one either.

jjorgemiami, thanks for posting these nice pictures. And yes hope that we get these and othr TAROM's. I would buy a few of both colors. Glad to see that I am not the only one who enjoys these planes.

It's not so much the colour, as it is the lack of cheatlines or something other than letters to break up the monotony.

Jorge, thanks for your kind words about my homeairport. I'm really happy that we can make some nice shots at this airport. It's only sad that we have such a short runway so that we have the Big Boys here only a few times

Have you also used the observation deck at the railway station?
You can make there also very good pictures. Here are two shots I made some time ago the first from the main oberservation deck and the second one is made from the observation deck at the railway station.

Yes Michael, I did also take pictures from the observation deck at the railway station. It is even better than the terminal one, if that is possible. I tookk some pictures from there on my last day in Dusseldorf, with my friend Marcus Steidele, maybe you know him.
