Hey T-man,
I'm a little surprised that you put Delta Widget with the 767. Although, very true, I think the plane that defines DL the best is L-1011. The L-1011 was Delta.

Well when I think of TWA I think of the 727-200 and then I think of Lufthansa I thin of the 747, or the A340, and with Delta I think of the MD-11.

The 707 could easily be associated with PAA or AA, or El Al, Air-India and QANTAS. At one point, these 3 int'l lines operated large fleets of 707s and little else!

Some others:

A-300, Caravelle - Air France
Convair 580 - Allegheny
FH-227 - Mohawk
Comet IV - BOAC
Heron - Prinair
Stratocruiser - PAA
Viscount - Capital, BEA
Tu-104, Tu-114 - Aeroflot
DC-5 - KLM

After reading a few other opinions, I think the 717 is AirTran. DW may have made 717 in Hawaiian but AirTran is the launch customer.
