Default O/T Air Force One

I picked up Air Force one today flying over the uk on my ACARS scanning software, it gives the usual registration and message info, but no flight number. Can anyone tell me if air force 1 actually ever flys with an actual flight number??

Thanks

Air Force One uses that designation when carrying the president, and the president alone. Air Force Two of course, when carrying the vice president. Anyone else and it's call sign is the tail number (i.e.- 28000 or 29000 is one of 747's). The reason for this change to the AF1 designation is for ATC recognition. There was an incident involving Columbine 1 during the time they used just the tail number, in which two planes had the same number, one a commercial flight number, the other the executive transport tail number. There was a near hit when a communication mishap caused both planes to come close. A new call sign, Air Force One was adopted. When flying on a another branch's aircraft, the call sign is 'said branch' One (example - Marine Corp One, Navy One, etc.) Any aircraft AF aircraft can carry the AF1 callsign, as long as the president is aboard. Theoretically, you could have a F-15 refered to as Air Force One.

And to further clarify, if the President flies on a civilian aircraft, that aircraft's callsign becomes 'Executive One'.

If the First Lady travels on a government (or civilian) aircraft on official business, the callsign becomes 'Executive One Alpha'.

1. What is the callsign when the Presidential family is aboard on un-official business?

2. What callsign do all B-2 bombers use?
