Some of you guys seem to know exactly when every airline made even minute changes to their paint schemes. I was wondering where to get this info. Is there a book or, better yet, a web site that lists the evolution of airline liveries? This would be a huge help in making my diorama historically accurate.
Thanks! ![]() |

If you are talking about old liveries, I would recommend the "Skyliners" series that contains three books. The first covers North America; the second, Europe and South America; and the third, Asia. These books contain photos of airports showing several planes together at the same time. Another might be "Faded Glory." You may want to contact one of those great photographers from Airliners Net and ask them a question!

Many airline Web sites also have history sections, although they vary in quality. I would recommend the excellent series of books by R.E.G. Davies. His books are histories of individual airlines, complete with liveries over the years.
