Default Vs A340

Hi guys! Hope one of you might have an answer to this question.

I have just ordered a New Colours Virgin Atlantic A340 from my supplier here in the UK.

Now, he says that it is a Dragon mould but is from a company called Ipex (????). Does this sound to you guys as if it is the DRAGON WINGS A340 that a number of people form this forum are having delivered? I don't wanna order the wrong thing.

He also said it is in a red box (which sounds like the Dragon one).

Any help you guys can offer would be appreciated.

Hi Edward,

Yes, the box is Red and Purple...VS corporate colours and has a photo of the aircraft on all sides except one which is Japanese text by the look of things.

There is an item number 551096 by the bar code.

I would say that the overall appearance is that of Dragon Wings, the model is absolutely superb in finish and quality and even the gear is already attached and has doors.

The engines are improved in shape and the model is even detailed to the extent of the APU at the rear.

If this is the one you've got on order.....then you'll be well impressed.

I just wish we could have a fleet of Virgin models from all of the variations they have flown to the modern fleet now.

Enjoy the model it's well worth the wait.

All the best,

Dave.

Dave, you have made me sooooo very happy. I was a bit concerned about the model but I suppose that I could have returned it if it wasn't what I expected. I think what worried me was that it was only £25.00 and the others that I see are about $46.00 which is maybe £40.00........

VERY excited now - though this may be the last model for a wee while as my Visa bill is massive from DW models. Gotta get them paid off
