Exclamation How to get the Model

I think you have to redeem some miles (a tab that comes w/the box) from your Dragon Wings models.

Hope it helps

I know that you need to gather the tabs and send them in to redeemthe model, but who knows how many mileage kilometres we need and where to send the tabs to, or how much the postage costs, etc.(PROTOCOL).................If Dragon is not going to tell us how, then they must as well not produce the model as a redemption model at all and keep the model for all I care!

you see, this is why i'm pissed off with dragon. if they are not going to release a model for up to a month then don't post any new releases. It only makes me bite my fingernails even more. That suspense... really pisses me off.

Question

Once it is determined how many tabs are needed, if anyone needs a few extra to get the model let me know as I have like 500 000 km and am not interested in getting this one. No worries by next year will have a few hundred thou more.

I am not complaining or challenging anyone. But I think you need to pay $20~50 for the model (in Hong Kong). But I am not really sure for this...Well we have to wait for DW update

I got the last mileage model Dragon Wings offered (a Continental 737-800) at http://www.airplanesuperstore.com I only had to pay $4.50 (i think) for shipping and handling.

I don't know what the points for this model will be yet. And depending on where u send the points to will be the shipping charges.

I was only trying to be a smart azz with my response above. Just wait a bit longer. It may be that you can buy the model out of ebay for just about the same price of a regular release. By tearing the kms tabs from your models you decrease their mint value, if you decide to sell in the future. By not acting quick, you may miss out on this one as well.
Since this one is one of the first 757s from DW/miles redemtion program, it may be a must have one. the operator is pretty foreing to me. i wish they had release one of the Qantas 738s with the native Australian designs on it.

There's normally an announcement on the Dragon website when the models are ready.

I think I have somewhere in the Millions of miles to redeem.

Good model though, at least Gemini won't be doing this one.

Yes, i dont know why we have to pay for this model. why DW dont show a little appreciation to our years of supporting by given this model to us for free for one model

Smoothjazz, when final details are released about the number of miles needed to claim the model, you can go to your retailer / write to your supplier and give them your miles. They will then obtain the model for you. You just have to pay the appropriate postage.

It all has to be dealt with through your retailer/supplier!!!!

Hope this helps.
