Default Nighthawks to CBS Eyes: Capital Airlines

Capital is one of my favourite airlines and they have a great story. Here's an update on one of my older threads with new photos and timetable images and expanded text. Aeroclassics still need to pull their finger out and release a DC-3 plus a DC-6 and Viscount in the CBS eye scheme. I'd love an Electra too as several were painted in the new colours even though they weren't delivered:

Richard - I have the same fond memories of Capital, and I have these same models. Capital also used the modified 'Super DC-3' that was identifiable with a taller, squared off vertical stabilizer, and I would love that model produced, but I'm not holding my breath... Doug. The added page is from George W. Cearley, Jr.'s Capital Airlines, which I'm fairly sure you must own - for me, his books are the 'go-to' source for data.

Yeah the Super DC-3 was impressively different wasn't it, with the fully enclosed landing gear (like many later upgraded standard DC-3s). I don't think we'll ever see that sadly:
