Default Latest New JC Wings Releases - New Mould Alert

Hi All. I've just seen that JC Wings have announced four new models including a new mould for the C Series. Here they are:

Bombardier CS100 C-GWYD
Air China B 747-400 B-2472
Qantas Airways A380-800 VH-OQL
Scoot B 787-900 9V-OJA

Can anyone tell me what the JC 747-400 mould is like? Is it the same as the Gemini?

It's surely got to be better than the Phoenix abomination with the odd nose and misplaced nosegear.

The JC 744 is based on the GJ and very good.
The CS100 is a surprise.

What an odd release the CS-100....not even in a airline livery yet.

VERY nice! I will buy the CS-100 for sure. It's a beautiful machine.

Not sure why they chose C-GWYD though. It's FTV2 (Flight Test Vehicle 2)

C-FBCS was the CS100 that made the first test flight for Bombardier (FTV1):

The CS series project almost looks like the post 737, clean sheet narrow body, Boeing have yet to make. It's like a baby 787 morphed with a baby A350 in appearance...

The CS-100 in that state could have been ordered by Bombardier too. Remember DRW released A380s in their "naked" version.

CS100 in full house color (C-FBCS) would be nice.

I wonder who Republic plans to operate it for. I thought tier 2 partners couldn't fly more than 99 seats

Welcome to DAC Harry. This sites a bit more interesting than Wings900 and sometimes less friendly but generally more fun. I post on both nowadays but DAC is my proper home.

I'm not convinced about JC's 787 mould but I have to say I think the 787 is the ugliest jet ever made. I have a Phoenix example as you know and I think it probably looks better than the real thing!

I'm interested in the CS100 but I'll wait till they release it in house colours.

Pretty sure they're both in "house colours." One is blue, one is brown. Both have the same Bombardier logo and CS100 on the tail. I agree that I like the blue better, but I suspect they'll probably release both since it's a new mould and there are no other options just yet.

The curvature of the backside of the wing where it meets the fuselage is way off on the GJ 380 I have- is this the same thing?

I will wait until they release it in airline livery. Hopefully it will be Swiss first.

It also allows me to see whether buyers of this model conclude whether the

mould is any good before I spend a dime.

I get what you mean but the real ugliest jet is the A350
