Default Video Review: GeminiJets KLM MD-11 PH-KCB "Goodbye MD-11"

This is GJ's newest 1:400 MD-11 and it's one one heck of a nice model!

Enjoy,
David.

David, a very nice review of a great aircraft, the MD-11. It does look like Gemini improved on their models. I hate to see the MD-11 go to pasture.

One thing I did notice from the front view is that the main landing gear cover doors are placed differently. The port one angles outward while the starboard one hugs the strut. Not a big thing but noticeable non the less.

Thanks for posting the review and I look forward to others in the future.

I was so impressed with this model that I actually had to email GJ and commend them, but somehow their feedback page is not going through which was extremely frustrating as I spent a considerable amount of time praising them for this great new piece of work! I went on their Facebook page instead! Anyway, I'm so glad I purchased this model,as there is so much more detail than on previous MD-11 models. The nose is properly shaped with the added nose cone markings! The landing gear is correct too, having the metallic hubs for the main and the white for the front! There are so many more additional markings on the model too which adds to the already very realistic version of the actual aircraft! I'm sure it says all of this on the vid posted, but that's my pennies worth! A truly great model and money well spent! WELL DONE GEMINI!!!!

DLmd11,

Thank you for the compliments. Funny thing is until you pointed it out, I did not notice the gear door thing. Even funnier I looked at my 1:200 Hogan MD-11 and it is pretty much the same except on the other side, lol. Going to see if I can ever so slightly bend it back but over all I do really think this is a pretty awesome model and a home run for Gemini!!

David.

LDC1011,

Yeah not sure on their website but I did post this to their Facebook page as well. As stated above I really do feel and agree 100% with you, Gemini did an awesome job here on this model.

I recently got their Jet Blue A321 and it is pretty darn nice as well. Will be posting that here in a similar fashion pretty soon.

David.
