Default Well, Well, Well...

It's kinda good to be back on DAC, I guess.. I've been posting here and there the last few weeks but have largely been gone the last 2 or so years. Turns out, having a girlfriend will do that to ya. Anyways, due to said girlfriend, the model income has pretty much been non-existent....until very recently. A few months back she became one of AA's newest Flight Attendants, so I was able to make a stop to the C.R. Smith Museum during her graduation weekend and pick up a few "New" American 1/400s. Also picked up the 1/200 737-800 by Gemini which is pretty awesome but that's for another thread. The jetBlue A321 is a new addition as of yesterday...I just think it's cool and is a result of a relit flame for these little bastards. Of course, the American A321T coming out next month from GJ is already pre-ordered. And oddly enough, she actually likes these models...so I've got a keeper!

Anyways, on to the pics! I'm really impressed with the 777 moulds from GJ. My only beef is with the 77W and the fact they slapped on some -200 series engines....really half-assed in my opinion and hopefully the folks at Gemini can improve on an otherwise awesome mould.

Very nice models. Pics of the girlfriend are not loading though .

In all seriousness, congratulations to her and now I want an
American 777 -300ER.

I have both the Gemini AA Greyhound 773 and the Aeroclassics AA Greyhound A319. As much as I hate to admit it, Gemini got the colors better--both the fuselage gray, and the flag colors on the tail. But Gemini still has the clunky-stick rear landing gear, as so many of their jumbos have. (So I'd still get a Phoenix or JC AA 773 if they make one.) When on earth are they going to stop doing that?
