Default What's wrong with the paint on this A300?

Hello, I just received an Jet-X A300 LUFTHANSA B4 D-AIAA 1/400. However, the paint on the top part of the fuselage is really odd. It looks metal gold instead of white as it's supposed to be. Is this unpainted or a mistake in painting? Can anyone please give me answer?

Thanks

thanks for your reply, Garuda 747400. I googled and found it a typical chrome sample. What's worse is that the cockpit windshield looks not correct either.

Blue Box made a bunch of gold-plated 'fantasy' L-1011's but I hadn't seen this treatment on a Jet-X model before.

if you are looking for a more accurate model of this aircraft in 1/400, Aeroclassics also made this exact aircraft in the proper colours worn by this aircraft at the time.

G'day,

What you have is a sample model (the gold section is used to test detailed printing methods). I have taken your photos and added them to the database.

Jet-X 1:400 Lufthansa A300B2-1C - Wings900 ID# 36133

If you don't want the model, I'd be happy to purchase it from you.

Cheers Lou
