I like this one but I have not yet seen a photo of the 1:1 in this darker shade of grey or with the silver rings on the engines.

Nice. I've been looking for a russian aircraft to add to my collection. I still think they are copies of western jets though.

The Soviets may have gotten inspiration from the west for some stuff out there, but it isn't like the West doesn't do the same thing when the Soviets did something. Tell me, exactly what planes did the Soviets copy to make the Tu-154, Tu-134, IL-76, An-124, An-225, An-24, An-26, An-30, An-12, Tu-95, Tu-114, Tu-16, Tu-104, Tu-110, IL-86, IL-62, Tu-144 (debated, but if you look at the details, you find that there isn't enough to warrant those conspiracy theories), Tu-204, Tu-334, IL-96, Tu-124, An-28, An-2, An-14, Yak-18T, Yak-40, Yak-42...
I mean, I can find MANY planes that are in a similar configuration for most of these, but I can't find one that is exactly like this. The only planes I know that can be confirmed to be as close to carbon copies as can be were the Tu-4 (B-29) and the Li-2 (C-47, though that was done under licnese with extensive Soviet modifications, like the Japanese counterpart, the L2D.)

Well, I'd expect similarities in looks in each era, it isn't like everyone else didn't have similar looking stuff at the time. The laws of Aero and Thermodynamics don't tend to change because one went East of Berlin.
A lot of similarities appear with many designs today with a lot of manufactures (even more so than then really, since everyone pretty much picked out their ideal position for engine, wing sweep range, etc...)
