3. Gjdal1101 delta atr 72 (n631as widget c/s)

Condor and Delta MD-90 for moi!

The AA is tempting but I don't typically get American Widebodies. I'll probably hold out an AA A319 with sharklets.

atomicfungus....You can pre-order them from your dealer or many here in the US. It was just announced today so some may not have it on their website. Won't be in the US until end of August 2013.

I don't exactly have a dealer, haha. Most of my models are from ebay, but I've pre-ordered these from Waffles.

MD-90 without nacelle strakes? No buy. That's akin to missing an MD-11's winglets to me. It's part of the airframe.

Dragon managed to put nacelle strakes on their MD-80's years ago, and the -80's strakes are even smaller than the -90's. (and of course Dragon has strakes on their -90 mold)

I'll probably go for a half dozen or so of that sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet looking SU IL-62!!!

A few alterations, and I can have an apron full of those beauties, each sporting a different reg. nr.

Me thinks it's time for some Soviet era GSE!!

If you're in Singapore, try Toymax or Airbus Models in HKG; they're both VERY reliable and with good service!!

Again, you must have missed the line of "pre-production photos". Attention to detail hasn't always been your specialty. But, you do talk a lot.

Your comments are mostly of the complaining nature. For someone who carries the tenure that you boast of you'd think your attention to detail would be knowing month after month that these are pre-production photos.

P.S The "Abraham" name may be new but this user has been around long enough to be a "long-term" member. With the amount of nit picking you do I'd imagine you have a collection of one piece?

You expect changes in the printing, between pre-production and production. I'm not sure I'd be confident of a change like that though.

THIS IS REALLY EXCITING!!!

In your opinion, should we expect the rest of the MD-80/90 series to also be released soon?

the MD-90 doesn't have a very wide operator base, specially when compared to the MD-80. I'd love to see more of this family to be brought up by Gemini.

The plastic 1:200 family is another interesting development. I have still preference for the metal models, but this line could get interesting as the mold just released looks (from the pic) very good in quality and accuracy. We could see a lot of types being developed more easily than in metal IMO.

We should see lots more Delta and..........
*US Air *SAS
*JAL, *JAS (has some real beauties)
*TWA (remember them)
*Aeromexico, *Iberia, *Spirit (prior to becoming an all Airbus fleet), *Finnair,
*Alitalia, Swissair, Air Liberte
*and of course lots of AAs too.
Since it is a brand new mold GJ will want to recoop their investment.
In my opinion we will see many, many more MD-80/90s .

Long-term member......since 2011???? It's official - you're a jackass !

I am sure you are crapping right about now with the release of yet another Emirates A380. Yeah, I know - it's 'profit" that drives the manufacturing of these models.

By the way - that would have more to do with marketing than economics (of which I studied both in college) though I would not expect you to know the difference considering you were probably an undergrad in women's studies at Jack Schitt University.

Good luck to you anyways and try not to foam your pants over your Hawaiian A330 and, now, your 8th Emirates A380.

Abraham was on DAC before 2011 just not with that username. Hes more involved with this hobby than 99% of the people on here.

I think your ignorant assessment of Abraham is completely out of line!
His love for aviation is genuine, and his knowledge quite extensive.

CO Rudy.
I too anxiously await the China Southern & EVA Air MD-90s.

You may want to buy more than 1 SU IL-62, as I'll be buying a whole bunch, and bringing them back to Tonglu for some "fleet-building" alterations.

I hope GJ add the overwing exit marking to the 777.
On their pic, they seem to be missing...

Ah, that's what I've missed about good ol' DAC...the squabbling over trivial crap. Glad to see it's not completely lost.

You don't read well either.

And I actually am crapping right now. Now, go grab your favorite toy plane and run around the house with it making airplane noises. Careful, don't slip on the carpet!

Do Phoenix and Gemini share the same 787 mould? I'm quite partial to my LOT 787 from Gemini, though I'm sure if they don't Phoenix has a fantastic mould as well.

This is correct. Also the second release in the hobby of the new colours. Herpa has released a 773ER in 1:500 previous to this.

Condor and MD-90 officially preordered
