Very nice looking releases, I'll have to get all three tails. I just checked out jetBlue's website and follow the "Shop jetBlue" link, but the web address for the jetBlue shop looks like it will be www.jetblutique.com. It looks like it's active now (couldn't get into it when I first posted this message), but these models aren't yet listed on their "Blutique".

Guess I gotta check the jetBlue website regularly now.

From Gemini:
"Due to popular requests, GeminiJets has reached an agreement with jetBlue to produce A320 models in their three different tail configurations.

Because of distribution restrictions, these models will only be available through jetBlue. However, the airline has assured us that they will be available to anyone who wishes to order them. Please stay tuned for further information as to their availability. This information will be posted within the next week. Please do not call ADI inquiring where to purchase this model."

Arrow Braniff of the north is here!

This great all tails!

Reminiscent of Braniff and Mexicana!

Since they also fly in to Denver these are eye candy!

How about Alaska line from the 1970's?

I am wondering if these tails have any names. Similar to the BA taild having names like "Animals and Trees, Waves of the City, Whale Rider, etc.?"

Arrow T-Man here are the names! From another model selection in the on-line Catalog

JetBlue Airbus A320 is the closest most of us will come to owning the real thing. Makes a great office decoration, a centerpiece for the collectibles shelf, or a hood ornament for a monster truck. Make room because this is big! Comes in three flavors: harlequin, stripe, and dot.

I have the 1:150 scale one but no more! I love these three! 1:400 all metal masterpieces.

Default Jet Blue!

Really nice planes, especially the diamond pattern tail. As the Doc stated, the Jet Blue site doesn't have them on the shopping list yet, but there are some other cool items to look at.

Is this Gemini's way of satisfying us until they announce the January releases? If so, I like it. WN and B6 planes....quite nice.

I would prefer to buy these three models from my regular retailer, but I guess sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

They do name all their planes.
One of them is called "Shades of Blue", another one is "Cool Blue".
They have a contest for employees to come up with names that include the word "blue", the winner gets to go to Toulouse and fly back on the delivery flight.
My friend at Jetblue says that they will not use a name that implies like say a water ditching or something else like that.
He has just submitted "Sacre Blue", so we shall see.

Anyways, this is an awesome release! Time to do some OT at Southwest!

I might get the top one or the middle one. I do not have an A 320 yet of any kind.

Just contacted jetBlue! Said that the models will be listed in the "Uniquely JetBlue" section of their online store (http://www.jetblutique.com) within the next week!

They also said they are going to be sold individually, not in a set. The models will cost $21.95USD each. Will only be avalible direct from jetBlue. The shop's shipping charges depend on where you are located. Usually $5-$6.

Hope this information helps!

The tails are nice looking, but I still stay they've got a pretty lame livery -- all white. What fun, more Eurowhite...at least BA has a solid blue belly!

Forgot to mention-

jetBlue also said that the models will have names on them, i.e.: "Shades of Blue."

Excellent!! Jeez... first Southwest, now JetBlue! This is great news... I'll get at least one of each, possibly two or three if I want to fleet-build.

Thank you Gemini!!!

Whoops -- yep, you got me on that one. What I meant to say is BA's blue paint is at least visible. Jetblue skimped so much on the color that it's barely visible from most angles....

Nice models for a nice airline. Hopefully the test of time will find them well - and out of reach of any AA jowls.

Where did their top exec's come from anyway?
