Thank You, Yeah I agree with you there. I'm in no doubt though in saying that the latest 2010 titles are the best they've had yet.

Haha. Indeed I am. As you can tell I mainly only collection Virgin Atlantic, however I did start to branch out a little with Virgin America, Virgin Australia and Virgin Blue, I only get these models if I see them at a reasonable price, after all the Aussie fleet won't look right at my British based model airport.

Thanks Bob! Much appreciated.
I've started work on my model airport, the airport will have a custom built 'Terminal V' with 6 gates for Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Sun.

Thank You, I'm glad you liked them. I still need a line up shot with the 2010 titles, after all this is Virgin's best livery by far.

Re: My Virgin Atantic Collection
Just curious to know what you paid for your Concorde ? Did you get it from the initial release, purchased from the Virgin online shop or from a 2nd hand deal ? I think I paid aroud £35 for mine on e-bay some 7 years ago.
Not that I'd sell mine, just curious what this little curio is trading for nowadays.

Great collection but I can't help but note in picture 6 how completely wrong the nose shape of the Phoenix 747 is.
Ph have the worst 747 in 400scale.

I did attempt to get the model when it was relased, when I flew onboard Virgin they had it in their in flight magazine at only £18.50. But they didn't sell Concorde onboard, you had to ring a purchase it but I could never get though
I purchased mind for £54.51, a few years back which I thought was a good price considering I have not seen one below £100 in a while one eBay, so you got yourself a bargain before it became Maga rare!
Here's a video I made a while back, not the best editing but I was young back then haha Limited Edition Virgin Atlantic Airways Gemini Jets Concorde 1:400 Model RARE. - Blackpool Resort - YouTube

Thank you! I've never actually noticed that before, however in terms of livery PHX have got it spot on for the Virgin 2007 livery, the red doesn't go over the door like the GJ one. Also the 2007 GJ release is G-VROC which never actually when in to the 2007 livery, it was in the 2001 silver livery and was painted straight in it the new 2010 titles at Manchester.

Re: My Virgin Atantic Collection
Nice collection there. I have quite a few of those myself - basically all that come in the tin boxes including the Concorde that i managed to buy direct from VS for about £15 at the time of release. Quite a nice earner there! Did have the DW A346 Madame Butterfly too to celebrate the first A346 into the fleet that i also brought onboard but annoyingly this got destroyed many years back - downside of DW's plastic wings.
Do you have both editions of Gemini's Birthday Girl?

Thankk Youu! (: ah that's a great value Concorde, I remember seeing it in the in flight magazine back in 2003 at £18.50 but they didn't sell it inboard.
I don't have the dragon wings G-VSHY but I've got the Sonic Wings, but they've put the second door too close to the first one. Haha.
Yeahh the 21st model was the first one I got, that was actually the first model I brought direct from Virgin (: I took indivual photos of the whole fleet, but I haven't out them all on haha a lot are very similar, just different names.

Thank Youu and Thanks again, its a great online community! (:
Nope you haven't over looked it, my favorite scheme with out a shadow of doubt is the latest '2010 Titles', its by far their best livery with the larger titles, as well as the belly logo. I also love the new metallic red, after seeing it close up at the Heathrow hangar, it just looks amazing on the jet. haha.
Whats your favorite?

Yeahh, it's by far the best livery they ever had! I'd deffiently recommend you get one! (:
I've got a new addition to the collection on its way, should be here mid week. It's another Boeing 747-400 to add to the fleet, on of the LHR based jets. (: I'll post pictures when it arrives (:
