Default Big Bus = Aeroclassics??

This check with everyone?

I'll admit, I liked the older Aeroclassics boxes, but the new ones with "Big Bus" on it seems to cheapen the $35.00 aircraft inside.

Couldn't care less about what the box looks like, it's the quality of the product inside that matters to me.

Coulda been worse. AK's original plan was to put Mommy and Daddy Bus on the A330 and A340 respectively. I think we dodged a bullet here!

The best part is when you open the box??
These A330/340's are just superb..... best releases in years.
Already snagged the CX ones and a LH...really really tempted to collect the rest of the airbus releases.....

I've interacted with AK for over 10 years even meeting him in person in Seattle getting a good deal on a Continental 757 (1:100). Yet at the time, Aeroclassics was making the birds with the cheatlines running down the fuselage. (Planes with colored stripes) Too early for me. Told AK he would be the "go to guy" in a few years when the 1990's aircraft and liveries became "Classics". It seems the time has arrived and CX is key in my collection.

That being said, I will say I do like a complete package. The older Aeroclassics boxes were fine. (I picked up the set of six AA 707s back in the day). But whomever is running Aeroclassics these days I would mention my desire for quality all around, including the box. It's style. Jet-X had it. Great birds and nice boxes...the complete package. You could put box and bird in the display case if you wantred. Both were that good IMHO. Very complimentary.

Additional value for the price was when cards were included. Yes, I'm the minority who liked them. It wasn't a website's database that told me "1 of 250". I know I got aircraft number 49 of 250 as that is what was on the card. Rerally felt like a collectible.

One would think for $40.00, it would include not just a well made plane, but a nice container that did not scream "BIG BUS" or "LARGE BIRD", or whatever saying/company name that moves during the night to open shop in another location the next morning.

Will I still buy them? Probably. The CX models are made well (colors are great) and it is about the plane, but I honestly will only store it in the plastic container as the "Made in China" cheap box really retracts.

I don't mind the "Baby Bus" titles on my BA319/320/321 boxes, the models inside are great.
