Question Anyone got any of the PHX April releases yet?

Hi guys!

Just wondering if anybody has got stock of the PHX April releases yet? I know the USA is expecting the models to arrive sometime next week, but have any European shops got them in yet?

Thanks!

I was wondering the same thing this morning. I only have the Asiana 744 on preorder here in the US. I did find one for sale on Ebay. I bought this since it's the only choice you have for an Asiana 744 in 400 scale, but man I do not like this mould!

The nose looks so wonky on this 747 mould from Phoenix. I can't bring myself to buy these.

Yes, I know about the AV400 one, I only collect passenger versions of the 747.

Garuda,
I see what you mean now. I knew AV400 released a cargo version with the new colors, I looked in the database and found the passenger version of the aircraft. Never knew. I have several AV400's in my collection and while most people complain about the "dip in the hump", it does'nt seem to bother me too much.

Big bird also has the same dip in the hump because its from the same mould and bb and ac are considered a great 747

From the pictures, I will say that the wing/fuselage connection point is different. So I am not so sure it is the EXACT same mould.

I think DW is unique, as far as I know, they are the only ones to have a metal fuselage and plastic wings.

From this photo angle, all the flaws of the A330 model are not as evident. Please try to provide a nice side shot, so we all can see.

I can't quite tell by the pictures I've seen, but are the wings straight on the KLM A333 or are they bent like some of Phoenix's other Airbus A340 and 330 releases. The reason I ask is I can't decide between the Phoenix or Aeroclassics version.

The bent nose gear on the TAM and the down-slanted engines on the KLM are testament to the QC issues of Phx. The 744 mould still looks bad in my opinion, sadly =\
