Picked these up for around $10 to $15 each. The moulds are very good to excellent except that they too suffer the problems of wonky cockpit windows and cabin windows that are a bit too high. The wing and engine details on the A340 are almost identical to the 1:200 Hogan/Herpa A340. If only they'd correct the cockpit and cabin windows and add frames to them, the models would be almost perfect.

Bought from the e-bay UK site and shipped to a UK address. Shipping cost, around $5 for all 3.

Thanks Peewee. Actually these PP models were just an experiment of mine with something new, a new manufacturer. Their moulds are superb, but those cockpit windows are enough to make me decide not to buy any more. That's my achilles heel with these models. If the cockpit windows are wrong and there's not real way I can correct them myself, no sale. I even bought the VS 744 in 1:250 but when I saw the thing in my hand, not only the cockpit windows but the mould itself was unacceptable to me and I gifted it to a friend without even bothering to take it out of the box.
Also I was made to understand in 2 auctions that the EI A333 and FN A343 were 1:200 scale like the First Choice 763 and KLM 738, and not 1:250! I guess its not entirely the sellers fault as no scale is mentioned on the boxes, but if they sell models on a regular basis, they ought to have realised that these are not 1:200. It still would be interesting to see what new releases they bring out from time to time, especially the A330, A340 and 777 but unless they correct the cockpit window issues, I won't be buying anymore. |

i bought an AIR ARABIA A320 made by Premier Planes from the inflight shopping of Air Arabia recently enroute to SHJ from MUM... I liked the cockpit, coz tats the main part of an A320, if I am not wrong!! I say so coz many manufacturers make a wierd cockpit for the A320/A321 usually....
My Air Arabia has great detailing... !! |

I bought two Boeing 747-400 while on my trip to Dubai last year.
One was current colours BA, the other Virgin Atlantic. Both came with white stand and looked pretty good. |

Also I saw in ur custom collection, you have mentioned the Kingfisher Airlines A321 as being made by Flight Miniatures. Well sorry to correct you, its made by Long Prosper not Flight Miniatures, as Flight Miniatures does not make 1:100 scale models!! you can check that out on the FM site itself... |

Ok, it seems then Air Arabia changed the manufacturer of their models, because the one I have is by Wooster which I bought in the UK. At one time the Air Arabia site even showed the complete list of items they sell on board and the model of the A320 at the time was by Wooster.
As for the KF A320, LP and FM are one and the same. Same moulds, same packaging, pretty much like Hogan/Herpa. There are alot of models you won't find on the FM website such as the KF A321, Olympic 727, 742, Thai and Iberia A346, Etihad A332 and A343, RJ DHC-Q400 and A342, Sama 733, Virgin Nigeria A320 etc. These are all made by FM who make alot of models that don't appear on their website. |

No problem. Actually Long Prosper was their older name. They changed the name to Flight Miniatures later on as it was probably more appealing and relevant to the products they sold.

I have the Premier Planes Virgin Atlantic B747-400 but it has RR engines instead of GE which is wrong.

I had the VS 744 but it had the correct engines. Either way I didn't like it and gave it away. PP has this problem of just offering 1 engine type regardless of the airline. Their 737, 767, A319, A320 and A330 moulds are excellent but their cockpit window printing is horrible. Just ruins a perfectly good mould.
Here is my My Travel A333. Those engines are again incorrect and supposed to be RR but they are instead GE, but damn good GE's! One of the best I've seen in small scale: ![]() ![]() ![]() Besides I think its high time that PP be added to the manufacturers list on the database here. |

Moin, I agree that they have to be added to the manufacturers list. I'm loving the detail and accuracy of the mold and engines but it's shame about the cokcpit windows.
