Default Ty-114 $500 on eBay

A die cast 1/250 Ty-114 sold on eBay today for $500. My max bid was $230.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEDW:IT&ih=006
I'm very frustrated my bid did not get me my dream die-cast plane. There sems to be a market for this die-cast plane. Why don't more manufactuers release this plane if there is such a high demand?

All you have to do is to cut on those lap dances, shots of vodka and cigars and perhaps you can raise your bid to above $500 next time.

I can more then afford vodka, Cuban cigars, my women and thousands of dollars for toys each month. My concern is if a diecast toy is worth $500 or do I buy some new rims for my Acura or take one of my girlfriends on a shopping spree at Victoria's Secrets for some special favors (wink wink, you know what I mean).
OK so a choose the Teddy and fishnet stockings.
And yes did get the special favors.

I agree! Good choice there...much better than the crappy Tu-114 model or any crappy Tupolev models for that matter.

I hope Andrew Klein is reading this.
Andrew, this would KILL in 1:400.
The ultimate prop machine! (Well, this and the An-22).
I know you could make those props counter-rotate.
And check out the paint-scheme on this 1:250 model - those are the exact colors I'm hoping you'll use!

I have sent many requests to Andrew for the Ty-114 in 1/400. A number of times Andrew has indicated he might release the Ty-114. So far he has not walked the talk.

Think it's getting the contra-rotating props to turn correctly when you blow on them is causing the delay....mmmm
