How detailed is the landing gear? How big is it compared to 1/400 scale? I want to buy one, but I don't want it to look too toyish.

Landing gear isn't too detailed but they retract!

1/250th is bigger than 1/400th by quite a bit. The American MD-80 is about as big as a 1:400 A340-600.

How much bigger is 1/250 compared to 1/400 you ask !?

Simply divide 400 by 250 and you get : 400/250 = 1.6 .

In other words : An MD-80 from the GJ250 series is 1.6 times larger than an

MD-80 released in the 1/400 scale ....
