Default Thinking about collecting 1/250

How detailed are the 1/250 scale models, compared to 1/400 scale? I need some input before I buy.

Thanks

I have all the DC-8s so far, except for the United freighter and the original release the Delta -61, and they are very impresive. I plan to order the AA and US MD-80s soon.

If you like toys masquerading as models, then this just might be the toy-model line for you.

TWALoser is just joking around. Pay no attention to his rants. He's special. He really just likes to stir things up and we just kind of let him hang out in the corner. He seems to be happy there. (HEY!! You stand there and keep your nose in that circle!!)

Seriously, the 1:250 line from Gemini Jets is a fine addition that you won't be disappointed with. It's well made and looks great. Especially next to some of the old Aero Mini's if you have any of them.

Just decide for yourself with any of them. They all are first rate. Except for the Delta DC-8-61. It's one you'll be hard pressed to locate. Maybe on E-bay but you can't find one from any retailer anymore. They were released in limited quantities and were all scooped up.

Try one, you'll be happy with it.

Yeah, just look in any kid's cereal box. That's where I got my GJ toy 250 scale plane. But be careful, cause they don't land very well after being thrown across the room.

Mommy, mommy... my new crappy toy plane broke!

Gemini 1:250s are really nice, especially the American and Alaska MD-80s. *wow!*

I like them as well. I think a lot of people as not happy about missing the very limited first release and that has coused some sourness towards the models.

Now Now guys, Lets all get along...TWALOVER has the right to his opinion. Now I do diagree with his opinion, but that is my opinion (new word of the day...Opinion ) Anyway We can't just have all positive, and no negative.Air Tran, If you look at how many like it vs. how many dislike it, then you should be able to gauge it.

Air Tran, I'll tell you what. I would be willing to sell you one.Take a look at it. If you like it,Keep it! If you dislike it,send it back, and I will refund you your money. The only money you would be out is the funds to send it back. The only disclaimer I have is that the plane has to be in the same condition that I sent it to you in.I am a retailer, and I have had several dealing with people on here.PM me if you are interested. I just placed my order on the new US Air MD-82, So I can get you one of those if you want....Flying Ace...Got you covered.
