Aero Mini Replicas in Resin - Playboy DC-9-31 Big Bunny One
I got tired of stretching DC-9-14s into -31s so I decided if I can make tails out of resin, I can make an entire plane. Here is the result. A DC-9-31 in resin, based off of a stretched original Aero Mini -14 that was extended fore and aft of the wings. It is done in five parts - fuselage, wings, engines and horizontal stabilizer. I am working on a resin 727-200, Convair 440 and DC-8 regular version all in 1/239. You can see the plane in its various stages in the pics. The versions are wheels up or wheels down and they look pretty cool! The first one I did is the Playboy Big Bunny One and it is for sale on ebay.
