Default ANA 737 on Ebay

THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE EVER SEEN THIS PLANE UP FOR AUCTION ON EBAY. AND ALTHOUGHT THE SELLER LISTS THE PLANE AS NEAR MINT, I DO NOT THINK IT IS FROM THE PICTURES AND FLAWS LISTED (HE HAS ABOUT 8 OR 9). ANYWAY...DOES ANYONE HAVE AN IDEA WHAT THIS PLANE AND IT"S CONDITION IS PROBABLY WORTH?....JUST OUT OF CURIOSITY. AS I KNOW IT IS AN UNAUTHORIZED HIGHLY RARE PIECE

Arrow ANA 737

The model is definitely not C9, as mentioned in the auction. But as you could see already, the attached pics speak a clear language......so there's nothing to claim.

It's worth, what the people are willing to spend. That's Ebay.....

Anyhow, we do have to review our imaginations on prices, since the Internet is there. The models will be easier to find than in the past, but the "service" is to be paid.....

Does anyone remember the seller's user I.D.?

CAN YOU BELIEVE THE DARN THING ACTUALLY SOLD FOR $600...AND THE RESERVE WAS APPARENTLY MET.

SELLER"S ID IS 'SJKRYTEN'...DO YOU KNOW HIM.

I THINK FROM HIS DESCRIPTION HE WAS DOING THE HARD SELL...BUT THAT HAPPENS WITH SOME SELLERS ON EBAY. IT IS A SHAME BECAUSE I PERSONALLY WOULD RATE THE PLANE AS aboUT VERY GOOD CONDITION AND IN VIEWING THE RESPONSES SO FAR I THINK I AM NOT ALONE.

ASHELYSHAM, ANOTHER DAC FORUM MEMBER RECENTLY SOLD A MINT ANA 727 FOR $850 ON EBAY...SO I THINK THIS BUYER WAS A LITTLE FOOLISH IN HIS BIDDING...EVEN THOUGH THE PLANE IS RARE.

IT IS SAD THAT THERE WERE SOME BEAUTIFUL TOMPKINS PLANES A WHILE BACK THAT WERE BEING OFFERED AND THE SELLER COULD NOT MOVE THEM, AND THEY ARE QUITE RARE ALSO.

PERSONALLY, WITH A PRIOR AUCTION OF AN ANA 727, I THINK THAT IS PRIMA FACIA EVIDENCE THAT THERE ARE MUCH BETTER SPECIMENS TO BE HAD FOR BETTER PRICES. I GUESS SOME PEOPLE JUST DON"T CARE HOW THEY SPEND THEIR MONEY.

I WOULD NEVER HAVE PUT THAT PLANE INTO MY COLLECTION.
