Is anyone gonna purchase the Air Canada 747 on Ebay under the "buy-it-now" option? 'Cause if not, should I just go for it? Even though its way too pricey?!? Sure wish it would at least come with box and stand --

It looks like most everyone is scared away by the price. If your gonna go for it, I would bid less than $400. If no one has touched it yet after all these days, I can't imagine a last second rush by many for the model.
I see your only 3 miles from Dulles. I go to school in DC, and was actually at Dulles today visiting the Airplane Superstore. The prices there are way too much I must say, but there's just something about being able to see what you're about to buy. The worst part was getting out to Dulles. I took the advice of other DC collectors and took the Washington Flyer shuttle from West Falls Church, but after I got back to school, someone told me I could just take a metro bus from Rosslyn to Dulles in 40 min for 50 cents...I guess you learn from your mistakes. Back to the topic, I hope my advice on the Air Canada model helps you a bit, it definitely is one of the rare Aero Mini's. |
