Arrival2: SQ '50th', NZ 'Frodo', LH 'Star Alliance'
Hey guys, my second batch of models arrived today and just wanted to share them with you.
Singapore Airlines B777-200 "50th Anniversary" - Custom by Al (Stang21181) This is the first custom I bought, and I think Al's work speaks for itself...just beautiful =) 1) Original Box by Flight Miniatures  2) Body shot  3) Head  4) Tail  5) Beauty shot  6) Home sweet home  Lufthansa B747-400 "Star Alliance" by Herpa This is the only airline I bought that I've actually never flown with; and my only other non-Asian based airliner. Bought this from Kris (Milan747); a really nice guy and highly recommend him. PM him to find out what he has because I found the NZ "Frodo" from him. 1) Box  2) Body shot  3) Head  4) Tail  5) Beauty shot  6) Friends or foes? saw D-ABTH at san francisco!
 and this pic was back when i was into making my models look like they were real  and flew with her years ago on a flight from SFO-MUC before she got her star alliance coat! heres a shot i took at the gate  and to knock your model home, you should get the herpa retrofit 747 wheels! they look better than any diecast, any GJ, and IF, any hogan wheels out there. looks like your frodo 747 has those wheels! i never really got why hogan colored the engine parts a goldish color...arent they supposed to be silver?
