It's made by Hogan Wings for EVA AIR to commemorate its support to ferry koalas from AUS for TPE City Zoo. It is a design concept featuring full fuselage colorful livery with paintings of 2 koalas and fireworks on both sides of fuselage. Tail logo remained unchange. Scale 1/200, snap-fit version with landing gears. One time order of 1000 pcs, prior to delivery on Oct 1, more 700 pcs were already sold out, mostly to EVA AIR employees and frequent flyers. Actual model is a major improvement over the technical drawing shown on Wings500 several months ago. EVA AIR's retail price is NTD2,000 (approx USD58). I've seen some being offered on ebay, but without showing pictures of it being assembled does not do justice to its beauty and printing quality.

The Hogan Wings 1/200 snap-fit kit set mold is the exact one used for Herpa Wing's NP. Hogan Wings 1/200 series are mostly unassembled to save space to be used for airlines as inflight sales items and to save freight cost.

Hogan Wings are available in the following a/c types:

B747 (complete range)
B737 (complete range)
B757 (200 & 300)
A319
A320
A321
A330 (200 & 300)
A340 (200 & 300)
New a/c types are still being developed as we speak.

Will post some pictures of BR Koala Livery B744 soon.

Hi Netcrawer, it's okay to use my photos. I will try to re-size the photos of BR and CI samples. You can update the link later.

Strangely both BR and CI were only given one sample each, I can't think of any other channel where these samples may be surfaced for sale.

Risesoon did produce one lot of BR Koala livery B744 in 1/250 scale, if I recall correctly the quantity is 2000 pcs. I've seen the mold and printing quality, there is no match against ones produced by Hogan. (objectively speaking)

It's the same mold Hogan used to produce the Herpa NPs, just unassembled that all.

I like that they're not transparent, like RS 747 or Hogan 737
The 747s of Hogan looks a little strange because the frame is out of proportion.....Risesoon is going to produce 1/200 747 and other airplanes with wheels......And the 1/200 747 sample is really very good, and there are more details! One thing pity is that the engines of RS 747 are not as detail as Hogan/Herpa,
both Hogan's and RS's engine are not very detail. But Hogan is more detailed.....both Hogan and RSshould paint the back part of the engine "burn metal" but not silver.......

The most accurate engines should be Hasegawa, a Japan company. You have to assemble and paint yourself.....However, its mould( wheels, landing gears, engines, fuselage etc) is the best of the three.....It takes a lot of time, patience and skill to assemble......BTW, its cockpit and passenger windows are transparent.....

Where can I order the Hogan 1:200 products? Is there a website that we can order on line?
I only have the Herpa NP Cathay Pacific. And I am looking for another livery.
