Wanted: Lockheed L2000 SST
The market has been missing some of the best commercial aircraft designs from the Supersonic era. Yes...America didn't build an SST; but damn!, they looked great! Between the Boeing 733-800, 2707-200/300, McDonnell Douglas SST, and Lockheed's L2000 variation; there's plenty of choices for some new (fantasy) 1/200. There's lots of us out here ready to buy!
A busy weekend sketching brings you my first scheme on the L2000 wish list.
Eastern Airlines. This is a drawing that was done a while ago, but with the TWA "Stratostream" L-2000 print ocmplete, all the new details and line qualities have migrated to a serious face-lift and rework of this sketch. Eastern's colors and "The Wings of Man" concept is still perfection. Enjoy~
