Guys...
With the plethora of 1:200 models being released these days I need your help to keep the database up to date with odd models such as the InflightLE ANA 747 and Qatar Airways Hogan exclusives it is hard to keep it all up to date. Please use this thread to request model additions all I ask is for airline, aircraft, registration, part number (if available) and any special remarks. For example:

It would be a great help and it will also allow to keep the 1:200 section of the database up to date. Thanks!

One minor correction required regarding Model I.D.19085 which is the Herpa LH DC-10-30 (D-ADFO). The a/c and model is named 'Furth' and not 'Munchen'.

this model is already list, is the part 1 of model database, at the end ;) ! There are no item number and marks of manufacter, and it's limited to 99 pieces. But it's a mould Inflight.

ID20524 the registration is VH-OJB, as posted by you in the 1st part, but your model appears to have VH-OEJ!!

So understand, that ID20524 should be changed to registration VH-OEJ, correct?

BTW, we do not intend to add new lines to the database for the time being (Exceptions prove the rule), because we have to add new models in abundance every month for all the lines already in the db. Thanks for your understanding.

Do u added the details (black line, exit mark on wings and fuselage, gear....) on RS/SM TAM B773, Moin??? If yes, ur pics can't be use as presentation of this model on database, it will makes the misunderstand for who looking this model. "Skycrap" model with half blood from HG...:D. U should provide the pics of original model.

If you were to read what I wrote when I posted that thread, you would not need to ask these questions. I mentioned it in the thread that I added only the wing exit walkways and 'cut here' decals as the actual TAM has those. RS has now started adding the black lines to their 773ER models so I did not add those.

You want to comment on the model, do so on the 200 thread. So far every pic of mine which I've posted here for addition to the DB has been accepted and added.

Win_arc might have a point, but no harm in posting a pic of "an upgraded" model, as long as it indicates it as being upgraded. I'd be dissapointed to see a pic of model here, buy it and then find it does not look like anything in the pic displayed.

I think everyone by now knows what models posted by me look like as opposed to what they look like in their original form. I could never photograph a model in its relatively raw state without playing around with it.

As it is, the DB even has a few errenous pics of 400 scale models being shown for a 200 scale subject.

Well I should hardly think I'm a stranger here to anyone and even if I am, I'm sure there are many who will speak for me on my behalf. Besides with the few model pics I've posted, I doubt anyone's lives will change forever solely because the model they end up buying based on my pics will be slightly different. However, if its that much of an issue to our forum busybodies, I'll stop posting pics.

Dont stop posting pics Moin, we will miss ur new arrival theard every month and pics for new model come out as u always the first ppl here have the new release model.
I just want to point u that not all DACer follow this theard and not all new member know ur talent about updated model, so they maybe disappointed if this model coming not like the pics they saw in database which they base to choose it. I know the DAC database still got some mistake and lack of some models, but we here to try correct and supplement it.
Just keep the judge for Faucett Peru, we better stop here.

What do you think about doing it this way: You just give me a note that the model pictured is "modified", so I just add a note to the db entry like "Note: Model pictured customized with additional details", or something like that.

The Herpa Qantas A380 was never in the database till now :eek:
