Default Boac vc10

Here you have it, some details need a lot of work to be done in order to improve this model...

Yep, it's still awful. What isthat thing beneath the foward fuselage that looks like a mini-canard?

I really love the VC-10 in BOAC colors. I had to stop myself from purchasing this model several times because of all the things wrong with it. If JC Wings corrects those errors, I will most certainly get one someday. But I do hope Gemini Jets releases a VC-10 also.

If they did it would likely be the same mould.

well i ordered one.
it seems the least worse of all VC-10's i've seen, and this livery suits me.
hope i will not regret it.

So sorry dear HTF200, but I don't think so, this model doesn't look good

I know Ernesto, but i need a VC-10 and the British Airways last issued was really bad. I prefer BOAC livery.
Only ones you can get are on e-bay and really expensive. And they are not much better.
(i'm curious to know how many of these JC Wings are produced)

like they say "beggars are not choosers"

You mean that 'Rake' under the fuselage? I was wondering about that too. Its either an oversized antenna or they mixed up the mould with one that was to be used for a military/air force version.

As a VC10 fan, I used to work on the 1:1 version, I looked forward to this as my first 1:200 model and I have to say I am very disappointed. All the aerials a waaay out of scale and it obviously just a repaint of an RAF version, that ridiculously big aerial underneath and the CCTV camera fairing in the belly.

Mine only arrived yesterday and I am in two minds about sending it back.
