KLM 744. Finally got it off e-bay Germany:

ANA 744. Japan auction find:

Air Asia A333. I had initially planned to get this, then changed my mind as I didn't like the livery. Then my contact in Malaysia whom I first committed to told me its much better than it looks so I changed my mind yet again so here it is. This model will now be sold on board Air Asia flights:

though engines arent RS! i am tricked again. cockpit windows doesnt look like lysia either!

perhaps a hogan but those winglets are thick!?

Kai Kai Kai babe what are you saying? You're tricked by a few minor modifications I made to that model to such an extent you think its a HG?? This is indeed none other than a model made by RS exclusively for Air Asia but I managed to find me a contact in Malaysia who sent me one. I was apprehensive at first as I couldn't get past that livery but after his persuasion thought what the hell, I'll go for it and boy am I glad I got it. Air Asia will be selling the same model albeit w/o gears on board their A333 flights soon.

As for the mods, HG gears, trimming of the engine pylons and a bit of detailing results in what you see.

@ci032744: Yes I added HG gears to the ANA model. This is actually one of those Iwaya models which came with that hideous sound stand but luckily the seller told me the stand was broken (a major factor in my being able to get the model for a good price) so I told him not to bother sending it to me and I used one of the RS stands from one of my other models for the pic till I find a spare replacement stand for it.

@karun: You should be able to get it but its possible they'll only be selling it on board their A330 flights.

Is it the flash, or is the malaysia titles on the port side seem lighter than the titles on the starboard side?

Seriously need to grab this one while it's here, only because I flew on their 744s

Moin, is that ANA B744 winglet painted? or sticker? i remember my Risesoon SQ Tropical B744 winglet with sticker...

how do u like it? i was THIS close to getting it, but I am not so sure. please have a closer shot for me. can you flip it over and take shot from bottom too please? thank you!

I'm not sure if the winglet logo is printed or a sticker. It looks like a sticker but it doesn't have any 'edges' which you can peel off. Its solidly applied to the winglet.

I too was able to get the Air Asia luckily through my asian connections..I understand the one coming to me with gears has a wood stand..can you verify Moin???

Yes you had one of those ANA's with that hideous sound stand didn't you? For me it was almost a blessing in disguise that the sound stand was broken as it looked positively absurd and childlike. SM sells some nice spare stands which I'll pick up.

Yes the A330 with gears has a wooden stand but that model is exclusive to the airline and can only be obtained from them. Luckily I knew someone who knew someone in Malaysia who got it.
