Wow! I didn't know there would be a 1/200 model of the NWA DC-9. I pre ordered the Jet-X 1/400 model not knowing this was coming out. By the way no Elvis here just BB Kings 70th birthday markings. I was actually working that day in Memphis when this DC-9 brought BB King in for his birthday. One thing I've noticed on this one and the Jet-X one is the [cut here in emergency] markings on the top of the fuselage. They don't belong on these models. I hope they don't make it on the final product.

The international airlines have that. No US Based airlines have that, I don't think that is a FAA requirement. But this is a sample right crownvic?

I miss this bowling shoe livery. By the way, this is an ex Eastern Airlines aircraft. NWA has a few from them. They have little diferences from the other DC-9's they have but you can't see them when you ride on them. it's Skin deep

Nice! I don't have to get the smaller version! How long before the 200 scale comes out???? Will be getting the Continental Express Dash-8 this week when I get paid. I've only seen this once at MDW before Continental decided to pull out of there and take the Dash-8 with them.

Hopefully, they will remove the wing fences on the NWA DC-9-30. Nice looking model otherwise.
