Default Best 737 model?

Hi guys,

very similar to the previous thread, but I've wondered for a longer time; which is the best/most accurate/realistic 1:200 737 model?

As I believe most of you can agree upon, there are some definitve criterias which sort of makes the whole model:
- shape of the nose
- cockpit windows
- right levelling/placing of doors and windows

I've got the Hogan AF 735 and also the GJ 1:250 Continental 738 but am
not too madly satisfied with these.
Is the Phoenix 200 737's maybe the right answer to this...?

Many thanks. But ouch the price !! Among the more 'normal' priced then it maybe still is the Phoenix... isn't it?

Many thanks. Does all Gemini 737's have removable landing gears (however dragracing style before you fix them), and what about Phoenix?

Gemini 200s are the best (the engines seem to "hang" on several Phoenix B734s). I have the KLM and the Delta (on which i fixed the landing gear) and both are near perfection (nose shape, i especially like the engines and winglets on them).
I do not agree that Herpa premiums are better: I had the opportunity to see one last weekend: It didn't have more detail than Gemini's! More important: The Herpa premiums have the "seam-Problem" which arises from their window-section being made as a separate part. It depends which livery you have, but considering the price of the models this is not acceptable i.m.h.o.

I love Gemini200's 737, the nose is there perfect shape, so are the engines, but hate the 'dragster' look with the gear. lol! iv got herpa bmi baby 737, and the only thing shape wise i like about it is the shape of the main wings. lol!

Yes, Herpa Premium models are the BESTEST of the BEST. I, however, think that it is just too expensive for anything less than B744... A300, maybe, but B722 and B733 are just a bit too expensive to be paying for narrowbody...

Again, get it if you can find it at a reasonable price.

Thanks for all answers and pics, much appreciated, and also to be a newbie in this forum.

When I saw Smoothjazz's small display base pics, I found that Phoenix JAL Express really ravishing good and realistic and needed some clarification.

Gemini, Phoenix and maybe a cheap Herpa Premium if you finds it, that should be it!
