I have ordered the Oasis and South African 747s for next month , these will be my first two inflights, also glad i can put off spending more money on the Olympic until November about the same time i think the Thai will eventually come out, i am thinking about getting that the same month and of course a Garuda and Philippines if your request comes off would be most welcome, hopefully different months,
Funny how i have gone from two confirmed buys to 4 more potential and i havent even recieved one yet.

Asiana new colors was one that I requested and not rejected, so I think that one will be looming on the horizon too...

Inflight appears to be copying Hogan/Herpa with their 747 releases.

I don't mind, the IF200 mould is much better than the Hogan mould.

I still looking for VN Airlines livery from Inflight or Gemini..., maybe its great if Inflight do the A330 and Gemini do the A321 VN livery....

I agreed with Kai, both metal and plastic have their weak and strong points. I will recommend metal one for quality and plastic one for valued of the money.

Isn't there a herpa coming out shortly...?

Unfortunately inflight200's 747s cost too many $$$ for me.

Of course one shouldn't compare IF200 and HE, HG or RS... but based on how awesome the BA 744 is, I have to say that if I'm having one TG 744, I'll pass on the HE and go with the IF200 anyday of the week

Negative, sir, talking merely about the shape of the nose and placement of the windows, which seem more correct to me on the if200 than HG or HE.

Mmm... I knew Moin told us many times about notorious nose shape in HE/HG but I still can't get the point. I happened to have IF200 (BA744) and Herpa (CX744) models by my side and I decided to check them scienticifically. First I took photos of them:
IF200(BA744)

Herpa200(CX744)

Afterwards I merged these two photos to check the nose shape. Actually they are almost the same. The following picture is the result what I intended to match the nose section of two models:

The position of front landing gear is different if I tried to fit nose part. Therefore I did the same procedure by matching the front landing gear. Here it is.

Maybe I missed the point of nose shape. Could someone give me some advice?
