Default Aero200

Apparently this is a new company that has released or is in the process of releasing 4 different 1/200 diecast versions of the AC A320.

Anyone know anything about them? Is it owned by Aeroclassics?

Well AC did some 727's in fabulous liveries and wouldn't mind seeing some of them re-released in 1/200. Would especially love to see Syrianair and Libyan Arab to name a few.

I would expect them to cost more when you are talking about "extremely limited" releases...

Ahah, so thats where that rumor came from that Andrew kept denying, that
AC bought Western Models, when in fact it was only some moulds.
Does anybody have any pics of the new Aero200's???

Thank you for the info, can't wait to get them. It is very nice for the 200 scale to expand.
Regarding the 727 there are so many interesting liveries to cover.

To me GJ200's A320 is close to perfect. I wonder what more AC can do or improve to compete.

Great........I changed to collecting 1:200 to avoid AK's pathetic rants and attempts to monopolise the 1:400 sector.

What AC can do to compete.. simple - they will no doubt go straight in and grab the low hanging fruit, the liveries that we all want.. nice though my Tiger Air is... why..?..... when there's the likes of Air Canada to do on the A320...

No doubt on the older stuff we shall see BEA.. BOAC.... and for those over the water the North Centrals/Republics... the Mexicana's... if it is Western stuff then its going to be retro..... the rants you just ignore.. its the models that speak at Baldock International... Must dig my Western Western 727 out..!

Hey All,

I hope you dont mind if i put my imput in......

Well i've been out shoping today and was down at a couple of model shops and the only place that had these models where Aviation Retail Direct. There are 6 diffrent Air Canada all together. They cost around 39.95 Pounds each. So if you are after them go to ARD or give Paul or Gary a call who i saw in there.

Happy Collecting

Smokey....

I got run off the M25 today cos of that bad crash and ended up going down the A4 into London so had to pop into another emporium and they informed me that these were a long way from coming to market...

Was NMT pulling my plonker..?

I was going to pop into ARD but it took me six hours to get home from Crawely today and I guess they are fed up seeing me in there..!!

I bought a WM 727 model about 10 years ago. I hope they are making improvements to it. It wasn't that great of a mould from what i remember.

Can't say that I'm all that impressed with these A320s. One of the features that is high on my priority list for accuracy is the nose section, and they look off in those pictures. I will say that I'm considering the new colors version though....if I ever have the extra money for it. I'm still very interested in seeing what is released on the 727 mold.

Based on the ARD photo, I am not impressed with it too. Cost more than GJ200 which has less details, poor accuracy and a mediocre mould. Not worth collecting.

Well how many pieces do GJ200 produce?

I know for a fact, that none of these Air Canada's are more than 180 pieces. Some of them are well below 100 pieces!

For that limited a product, I'd say the $50 or so price range is more than fair. As for the accuracy or detail, I will wait to see one first-hand.
