Default I think they used a toilet tank lid in this photo...

For the life of me, it appears that what the model is sitting on is a toilet tank lid (notice the bathroom style tile on the wall in the background). Maybe not, but it whatever it is, it is an incredibly tacky way to show off a future 1:200 Jet-X model.

Unfortunately, none of the manufacturers, except Gemini Jets, present their models in an attractive way to help pre-sales several weeks or longer before actual release to the buying public. It makes no sense to me at all.

Perhaps it's a subliminal message to the fact that the future release will be a load of s*ite??

It looks like it would be a very lonnng toilet to be honest. You sure it isn't the top of the baby changing table??

Just a thought.

i am not sure what it is that the model is sitting on, that is why I used the word 'appears'. Either way, the setting appears to be a restroom or something. Maybe the photographer heard the call of mother nature right in the middle of his photo session or something.

Not really, it was a very popular advert at the time (along with others from the series of them), so I had a pretty good idea where to find it.

Is that the ledge outside the office window where the photographer will be, threatening to jump right at this particular moment in time??

It could be a restroom, or it could be kitchen.

Here in Malaysia, it's quiet common for house to have kitchen with that kind of tiling on the wall. That type of tile don't stain when come contact with oil. But my family don't like that kind of tiles, not really a comfy looking or to step on. When we moved into our house in Malaysia, they have all that kind of tiles in the bathroom, kitchen and even storeroom replaced with bigger and nicer type.

Anyway, that is a nice model.

They only have to ask...... it really is surprising how little they do spend on bringing their produce to market...

Such a shame, I liked the toilet photo shoot story. Some cropping (or should I say cra**ing) would have helped.

And while they're at it, some office cleaning. I also wouldn't doubt that they have a pile of empty yoo-hoo bottles outside the window.
