Definitely Herpa, with a doubt. I believe the QC chain goes as follows, as per what I have learned since joining this forum.

1. Herpa Premium
2. Herpa
3. Hogan Collectors
4. Hogan

Maybe i'll let the experts correct me.

I thought herpas detail was better but other than that they are the same. Plus HG has more 1/200 models to choose from than Herpa

Herpa and Hogan and basically the same!
But like many other said, if same airline & aircraft made both by HE & HG,
HE has more details such as window frames and etc.
If the model is made only by HG, it usally has same high details as HE would have.

But recently, for example, HE and HG both made Qantas A380, they are exactly the same what I've heard.

Folks, this question has been asked at least 50 times (no exageration), and I've really been around for a while. Old comments regarding Herpa being more detailed than Hogan is really a thing of the past. Herpa does not manufacture models themselves, Hogan, a brand and a manufacturer, produces most of Herpa's 1/200, 1/400 and 1/500 models. Of course, Herpa's are more expensive. Hogan not only goes solo once in a while, they also make models for airlines, and the best examples would be the ANA Japanese-exclusive models. You'd stop saying that Hogans are less detailed...trust me, NO Herpa achieves such levels of accuracy and precision nowadays, these ANA-exclusive Hogans are quite close to Lufthansa Modell Edition models from the 90's...but you also pay a high price if you want to get them.
