Thats what the PW engines on the SM/RS A330's look like. Nothing much one can do about it.

Can't take my eyes off that DragonAir Special scheme..
They did pretty well on this model.

Yeah, it's wicked alright, the PW "engine shape" should look similar to the US Airways.

Hey Delta 777LR, I think one image is enough for your signature.
Please set an example, otherwise this forum will soon be cluttered with large double photos in their signatures. Just hate to scroll down trough big signatures.

That Dragonair A330 is kick ***! Wow it's just so incredible...I'm not very impressed with the Etihad...But I guess being the only A330 around one cannot be chosy!

You got to love that Frontier A319 and the Spirit A321! Super.

Thanks for the pics Moin.

Nice addition, Moin. I like Lysia Dragonair A333. Does it have turning turbine?

Its either ETIHAD title is printed bit high or the pax windows low and the outline too thick as compared to the Jet photo. The tail markings are quite off as well. Colour is pale in comparison to the actual aircraft.

The EY A332 is a very old RS release pretty much like the QR old livery A332 which I posted pics of last month.

Seeing that RS only produce models when they receive an airline order, it appears that this model was made for EY when they first got the A332 and this model represents the early EY livery which seems to be paler than the current livery which shows the gold dust color very prominently. I think the fuselage initially was a metallic off-white as opposed to the quite prominent dusty gold we see currently. Here are a few old pics I found:

This model took me almost a year to find and for $18 I'm not complaining. It came w/o gears but I added HG gears.

The Dragonair A333 does have spinning engines.

Wow Moin seems like you are putting HG landing gears on RS models. I like the detail of the Lysia Dragonair A333.

This was just an experiment I did with the EY. I had this extra set of A330 gears and this model was w/o gears but had the slots for the gears so I thought why not. With a little sanding and glue, they fit perfect.

I recall seeing this model gearless...had no idea it had the slots for gears...However not having the gold dust colour on it is a put off...especially if displayed near the HE EY 773W

As mentioned before, I suspect this model is from the time EY a/c might have had an off-white fuselage and the livery was later revised.

There's a simple solution to that. Don't display it near the 77W. At least my 1:200 EY fleet is now down to the 77W, A343 and 2 A332's.
