I agree with you.
I really prefer the Hogan mould rather than the Skymarks one (and the details).

HG is good as far as details and finish go, but the nose of their 747's will always be a pet peeve of mine. If you've seen the pics of the SM/RS 747's especially the 747-400F's (which is the same mould as AF1) you'll notice the overall shape of the nose is superior to HG.

I will vote for Hogan. SM is improving fast, but still Hogan on this model.

@Etihad777: That's actually a SM mould. The stand just gives it away and I prefer that front end to the HG anyday.

As far as I know Herpa made Air Force One (tail number 28000), but probably it was exactly the same mould as Hogan with only other tail number (HG number is 29000) wasn't it?

It is better than I expected but does anybody know how are wings of real thing? I can't find any good photo of the wings. The model has grey wings, looks strange...

I'm surprised the LY 777 has landing gears. Whatever pics I've seen of it don't show it with lg's.

I am sure the LY 777 I saw did not have the landing gear slots...maybe this one came with it.

Wink Re: Air Force One - HG or SM?

Thank you for posting the HG AF-1 pics !

But comparing with the HERPA version it is not so good as there are no silver window frames, no lights and no antenna printing on top of the flusage.

But nevertheless I'll get now the HG version too as it have a different reg. as the HERPA ones
