Default What IF200 Lockheed Tristars are out there?

I honestly don't know, because I haven't been keeping track of them, but now I have a sudden craving for 1/200 Tristars...or DC-10s for that matter. The 747 is nice, but the cracking problem is poison to IF200 just like yellowing to Herpa Premiums! Haven't heard of manufacturing defects on the Tristars so far!?

Strange question... they are on the IF website.... well .. sort of..... but it doesnt really confirm what is out there....

Tristars

First off the mark was supposedly the Eastern/BEA one, but I have never seen one.. I went 'shopping' yesterday and dont remember seeing it...

So far the pink Courtline is the second one out with the Inflight number 3... that is at Baldock International and if Mrs Agent finds it, she will think I have turned.. oooh it is so very pink..!!

Yellow one (no2) is supposedly out soon...

Number 4 is the PSA.. didnt see that either.....

5 .. TWA
6 .. Delta
7 .. ATA.. these are not out yet..

DC10's..

1 .. BA
3 .. KLM / NW
4 .. Alitalia
6 .. Lufthansa
8 .. Air NZ
10 .. NW

ATA
Laker
Laker Skytrain
Pan Am (withdrawn from sale..)

I cant work out all the numbers .. some Inflight peep might want to update the site...!

Chatting to said dealer bod yesterday... the CourtLine/Alitalia were the last ones they in the shop and the BA was completely sold out . Today they are sold out of pink jobbies, Alitalia and BA's...

As to the models.. they really are very simlar to the Skyline models but with much sharper tampo printing, sharper undercarriage and a few pointy sharp bits - (aerial fins) ...

The Tristar looks nice... the DC10 was never going to win any beauty competitions and the cockpit on both the Pan Am and BA (10's) looks a little 'pointed' and suffers from the 'Inflight we cant get the top of the cockpit level' syndrome..... it is however very much a DC10....

They dont have the weight of the 747 so as to whats inside, I havet yet had one delivered in pieces to have a look.

I am just glad to see that someone out there caters for the retro crowd - and does a good job... well worth getting IMHO, if these two float your boat...

.. in fact quite a good question really...

Yep, just the BEA/Eastern, Courtline (pink) and PSA are available as far as L-1011 goes. I have the PSA (and it is also for sale) and I understand IF200 hopes to have the Delta on dealer's shelves within the first two weeks of May.

Well, I do have the BEA one, and to me it looks awesome, I love it. The other one I have is PSA, which is very nice as well...

As Agent said, the DC10 was not meant to win any price from the beginning, eventhough both models I have (NZ and AZ) look like a DC10 to me, close enough I'd say...

Thanks everybody for your imput, especially Mr Agent for being so descriptive. I got all worked-up when I saw the pink one Mrs Agent should not see, but then backed off because I didn't want Mrs. B to think I am coming out of some kind of furniture.
Honestly, I will just admit it, I want to see a Cathay Pacific Tristar...not even sure if that's the correct mould though, but it would be my dream come true. Of course, at the expense of the guys at IF200 who'd be sued by the said airline, which does not show an interest in granting licences of the older liveries nor ordering and selling them by themselves.

Does Inflight's PSA have the so called safety "canoe" located behind the forward landing gear? See picture.
