Default Inflight American 707

Hi guys,

I was looking at Inflight's reproduction of an American 707 in current colors, and noticed a few things that I'd like to ask about. Did a search and found nothing applicable, so here goes.

The first - is it just me, or is the 'AMERICAN' logo on the plane a bit too short height-wise? After comparing photos of the Inflight to photos of the actual thing, it just seems to me that the logos aren't as tall as they should be.

In addition, is the red cheatline a bit too high? Or is it just not thick enough? Seems like it should intersect with the point on the nose.

Maybe it's just me. I'd like to know before I drop $100 on this. Thanks.

OK, I am considering this model myself and since you pointed these out, I must check with airliners.net photos to the model. It certainly is a very tempting model.

Bump.

If no one has a response to my questions, maybe I could ask another one.
What IF200 707 would you recommend in terms of color accuracy and whatnot? I've been looking at the TWA and AA for now, and am just wondering about your opinions of other IF200 707s.

Most Inflight 707s Look Quite Good To Me. However I Never Paid Attention To The Height Of The Logo Or The AA Cheatline.

I'm Impressed With The Varig, South African, NWO, Lufthansa & Braniffs.

I have a number of Inflight 707s including the AA you are looking to purchase. Their 707, 727 & 737 have issues with proper alignment of windows/cheatlines/titles/logos; the 727 has other issues that need to be addressed.

Nonetheless, I like their 707s because of the overall appearance; 737 included.

BTW I Have Almost 50 707s In 400 Scale. I Think Only 5 Of Them Are Gemini.
The Aeroclssics Is Modeled After The Inflight & Is Tops, However About Half Of Them Have The High Cheatline Plague.
Bothersome At Times But I Live With It, However For 100 Bucks I Wouldn't Buy Either.

Seems ALL Inflight Models Have Some Fault. The DC-8 Is Near Perfect, But The Wings Have Too Much Dihedral.
Their 727 Has Many Serious Issues.

I'm Still Gonna Get A Burgundy Braniff Eventually.
