Oasis Hong Kong 744...Im am totally in! next month

Inflight's marketing department (or lack thereof) needs a makeover. No one seems to know what is coming and when. Aside from the realities of the manufacturing process in China, they must have a sense of the release schedule and where each model will be released first. Case in point - the Delta and TWA L-1011 models. There seem to be conflicting stories on when and where they will first appear.

C'mon Inflight - help us poor saps that like to spend our money on pieces of metal, plastic, and paint.

I am still awaiting LH B767 in LH colours they announced early last year or D10 1:200 announced the year before last....

Well my HG Oasis 744 is on its way to me now so I'll stick with that.

Wasn't there talk that they ceased operations a few days ago?

This model was kind of in the works secretly for a while, but now that Oasis is out of business, no trademark or liscense issues will come up, so why not speed up the process...I think its one of the smartest liveries out there!

Yeah.. get a decent photographer...

Too much news too soon spoils the effect.. they seem to have models coming left right and centre and me being old, senile or whatever gets all confused and I think bugger it... I'll wait and see .. and I end up with nowt... This has backfired on the likes of Corgi who must be an horrendous mess at the moment with loads of 2007 stuff which hasnt turned up and when it does it will be such old news.... Inflight we have DC10's Tristars 74's DC8's appearing left right and centre with news on site... the likes of Vector .. now Crown Vic... and no doubt by this evening Virginfans will have one listed on the Bay...

They need to get the juices flowing and spit em out one by one.. the models are the property of Inflight and information should come from that source... dilution does you no good at all.. its like pissing in yer Merlot...

Yes it is a beautiful livery and when I got the 1:400 version of it, I thought might as well get the 1:200 also. Shame they went bust. Anyone know why?

! Regarding IF200 releases, it gets frustrating waiting for models that seem to have no pattern on release. But then again we're all collectors - a strange, irrational breed that often does not think straight! Having said that - isn't life grand?! We can get highly accurate (for the most part) miniature versions of the real thing. When I was a kid, there was no such thing available - at least nothing affordable for a kid.

My information is from my Hong Kong distributor who faxed me an order form to order the model...He wouldnt fax it with model number if he did not get it from inflight!

Well, let's hope they are able to release the DL L-1011 by the middle of this month as they last informed me. I keep checking websites but they all still show it as a pre-order.

I'm actually very surprised to learn of this release, as I thought IF200 had decided to release only older airlines and liveries.

I can't believe this! I want a Canadian 747. Hey CrownVic, you still have that one you showed off in the forums? I would think about it and see about buying the Oasis. I wish they brought out the Canadian version, now that would be one I would get.

I had been told that the Inflight distributor for the US has changed... no names provided (at least I know Genesis was until now), but I guess that the delays on the releases has something to do with this...
